My theory is he got in the best shape he possibly could for the draft process and then gradually reverted back to whatever his program was in college. If you look at photos of him in college, it’s similar to the way he looks now. But if you look at photos of him at summer league last year, completely different. There’s probably some truth to the cardio thing.

CJ has been playing like he is auditioning for another team?
A little bit of PG with lots of assists.
A little bit of SG with some amazing shots. Also shooting very high %
CJ would be an Allstar in the LEastern Conference.

Us blowing them the hell out doesn’t really change much I’d still feel this way if we had to play them again in a couple weeks with no Nurk again. Its not a great matchup for us unless we shoot the lights out but believe me I’m happy I was wrong

Tired of people saying "no chance" and acting like games are automatic losses. It's kinda ridiculous.

Considering our performance on Christmas (it was Boxing Day where I live) I don’t think it was a ridiculous statement. I considered it a “maybe” win even if we had Nurk, so I’m a little more pessimistic than most when we face a team like this

Maybe doesn't mean "no chance". Do you know what the word "no" means? And then after a win you act like your prediction was no big deal, yet if we would have lost you would be quoting your own prediction saying, "I told you guys".

You can't have it both ways.

"Even when things went right for the Jazz, they went sour almost immediately. Perhaps nothing exemplified that like a steal and dunk by Donovan Mitchell in the second quarter that ended with the ball hitting a trailing Ricky Rubio in the face.

After the Jazz cut the Blazers lead that had once been at 27 down to 10 with 7:57 left in the third quarter, the Blazers put the game away scoring the next 17 points."

I was trying to use this game as a point. Nurk was injured. Meyers was the Starter. There is no question i was using this game as an example. One that i have used many times in a little different light. In the past i always said. "If Nurk gets injured". This time i didn't have to say that.
The bigger point involved was that again Meyers played well. The constant calls to "Dump" him are nuts. This team is very thin on capable Centers. What they have is Meyers Leonard.
Now here is my bigger question. Was all this simply a ruse to show Meyers to the league? A phantom Nurkic knee injury that brings Meyers in to start against what is arguably one of the best defenses in the league. Trade deadline is around the corner. Giving Meyers up now brings more than a bag of chips and a coke as many have joked on here. If you trade Meyers you better get something back.

If she wasn't noticeably disabled you should have said "Stand up and clap. Then you will be able to see".

If it wasn't for the deadline, I'd completely shut off and go on a blackout from the Blazers myself.

Our division record needs to improve.

    DEN: 6-1
    OKC: 4-4
    POR: 4-7
    UTA: 5-6
    MIN: 4-5

This is after the win. We have to win all our remaining 5 division games to match last year's record.

Somehow I don’t see that happening:

    Denver home and away.
OKC home and away (the away is a b2b - again).
    Min away.

So do people still believe that Dame and CJ can't co-exist?
