    Prorated minimum pickup. Of course it would add some tax but for a team that has WCF aspirations it doesn't seem prohibitive to me. It would be just as prohibitive to us with no owner.

    We could have....next year. They wanted ending contracts and someone who would take on Hardaway's bad contract.

    It's kinda funny that the Knicks took Ntilikina over DSJ and then had to basically trade Porzingis in a salary dump to get him.

    not really...for instance, Baldwin is probably owed 500K by now (same for Stauskas). Portland could trade him + 1M to a team for a future highly protected 2nd that would never be conveyed. Then they sign Wes for the minimum. It would only cost Portland that 500K over what Baldwin was owed and not add any tax
