I would even do Aminu and a 1st for Saric. We should dispose of Aminu while we still can. We aren't likely to be able to re-sign him after the season.

Pretty good odds. Olshey can now fall back on that trade when everything else falls through.

Given his history and 'less than stellar' defense, that is not much of a cushion to fall back on. If Hood is it.....underwhelming again.

I think Saric would thrive here just from a passing standpoint. Add in the shooting and I think he is a very good fit.

“The Bucks and Maker’s camp are actively working to find a new home for 2016’s No. 10 overall draft pick. One example: Word is Milwaukee tried to use Maker in an attempt to acquire Rodney Hood from Cleveland but were foiled when Portland put together a trade for Hood on Sunday.”

Maker must not have much value.

This is from the Anthony Davis thread, but it is glorious! Fans are chanting "Lebron's gonna trade you."

Chief is my most love/hate guy on the entire roster. One thing off the court he seems like a great dude - so thats more important then basketball.

On the court he is always making me lose my mind. Its either a great rebound, defensive play, 3 pointer, a drive. Or he’s over dribbling, not playing good team defense, missing everything he puts up.

I mean Chief/ET/Hark/Layman/Hood seems a little repetitive to me. I understand they do a few things differently but do they really do them SO differently that we need 5 of them?

I think we'd all like Chief more if Stotts used him properly, which is bringing him off the bench. I think Vonleh was a better fit for the starting lineup and I think Collins should be groomed for that spot now. Chief would be a perfect guy off the bench. Because he's starting, we see his deficiencies more...

We gotta make tough decisions if we want to break out of our treadmill state right now. Saric is definitely more upside but we would be losing defense. I would be for the move. It would give us a dimension at the starting 4 that we just haven't had since LMA departed.

^^^ It could be fixed if Saric played the '4' and Stotts moved Aminu back to the position he played all of his NBA career before he got here....SF.

I’ve been on a massive cold streak with sports betting lately so I’m gonna hopefully bring us all a little luck by saying this....

I really don’t see us making another trade, doesn’t seem like a lot of teams wanna take on extra salary for an average player, mid 20s first rounder included or not. Also if you take out AD who really are the Blazers gonna target? We already have a surplus of mediocre 3s/4s. Anyway, I’ve already come to terms that this will be another disappointing deadline, I just hope we finally do something this summer because I don’t know how many more Rodney Hood deadlines Dame is gonna be cool with.
