Maybe, Im not really sure? Once in a while old threads pop up and they seem similar to todays threads. Is the problem more so in quantity? More bad threads now then before?
Its just the perspective. How many posters disappeared or greatly stopped posting after Trump won? quite a few. The ones that did stay, post less, because their identity is so tied into their politics, that this place has become triggering. If Mueller is able to get something on Trump or Trump is out of office, suddenly, those complaining about how shitty this place has been will say "this place is awesome again". The core content hasn't changed, its the poster's own perspective on things. Those posters triggered by Trump with the Trump Derangement Syndrome are probably miserable in other parts of their lives as well. Reality is miserable, just because Trump won and Trump is everything they think they are against. Something that really doesn't affect them directly changes their day to day mood.

Barfo has always loved playing these bullshit games with me. It’s what he does. He starts shit, tries to act smarter than he actually is and all he does is asks questions to the most obvious of answer but if you don’t answer them, he pokes a little more claiming you have no answer for this. This being the perfect example. What’s more important than threads surrounding trump and issues going on within the world? Too fucking many to list. If I even post an answer he would respond asking how I would fix those issues and what am I gonna do about it. He doesn’t do this shit to anybody else. It's more than some new members showed up that has caused this. Back in the day there was like 2, maybe 3 guys that really used to disrupt the forum. We had guys like MIXUM, BenDavis503 and PapaG. Now in the past few years we've had this influx of a handful of guys who really make this place unenjoyable to visit. Just so god damn argumentative. EVERY single reply is letting others know how wrong they are or have no clue what they are talking about or how much more they know than anybody else. Get's old. I'm sure they will reply to this, no need to tag. Eagerly awaiting their retort.

And you nailed it: he starts arguments, and then turns the subject around to somehow either make it about something else, or he gives you one-line answers that are so outlandish it just makes you scratch your head. Or he'll pretend to agree with you about something, when in reality he's mocking the very clear point you're trying to make. He's very good at that. It's a shame he's not good at anything else........like being a moderator.

Maybe he was ignoring your question because he didnt think your question was sincere? Maybe he didnt want to answer your question at all. Maybe he thought it would just lead to further argument and was making a decision to not go down that road. Seems like there are lots of reasons why he may not answer your question that arent just, “all he wanted to do was complain”.
Of course I'd ask those things! By definition, these are topics that you think are more worthy of discussion. Why wouldn't I ask for your input on them?
