Happened to me and 7 other associate in Milwaukee all going down to the bar from meetings on the top floor. It stopped about half way down and it took them nearly 50 minutes to get us out, much the same way as the Blazers exited. The killer was one of the guys, had big time stomach issues and was blowing gas through the zephyr zone to the point several got really pissed and panicky. Once we got out we rolled into the lounge for a night cap or two or three. It was the sickest I felt in years.
Kanter has more than Meyers...OKC paid him well and so did the Knicks...Meyer will have made 52mil after this contract I think...Kanter has made probably a little less than twice that and he's only 26
Sorry I don't have a good one liners for this event . But using my vast musical knowledge I could come up with a topical playlist. Let's kick things off with a nod to last minute desperation....
Not claustrophobic but I have severe fragrance/chemical sensitivity and elevators are a stew of perfumes and cleaning products so I take stairs if at all possible. My first building at Genentech I worked on the 13th floor (only 13th floor in the company so always hosted Halloween party) and trained myself to take the stairs until my stupid knee developed arthritis. That stuck elevator must have had ghastly air quality.
Oh, it was at the place where they practiced, not the hotel. https://www.boston.com/sports/nba/2019/02/26/trail-blazers-emerson-elevator
Dame went LIVE today on Instagram. It was video of the team taking the stairs to practice instead of the elevator. Not sure if it was by choice or not, but it was hilarious seeing all the guys hoofing it.
Gotta suck for you guys having this long of a road trip, with days in between all the games, that's a long time away from your family... Totally random but that's what I do.
