Well in all fairness did you expect anything different with a thread topic that was chosen? I figured this would now be the place to air grievances.. Would be nice if we could all keep it here and leave other threads on topic though.
The only thing I dont really care for and I know Ive said it before and I will make this my last voiced opinion on it, but the deleting of posts leaves things very ambiguous and vague. Were the mods fair? Who knows because now there is nothing to refer to to form an opinion. I understand not wanting Blazers brass to read it, but then its also been noted that the players and management just laugh us off and move on, so that cant be that big of a deal. It is a mark on the mods when it is in question whee the banning was fair or not. There is nothing to back up the action now. Id love to read about how insulting Cippy was to get bane,d but aren't able to. This places all deletions under the suspect category and I will consider them opinion based, based on the relationship with the mod and the poster. If the posts were left up, there would be no question. Maybe move them to an OT thread or something, so there is a reference as to what exactly was said or done that was so bad to be banned? Just my suggestion and I know I'm not the only one here against deleting posts/editing, etc. Mods put their fairness into question when things are removed and cant be referenced. Just sayin.

Banning Cippy was my decision and my decision alone. This was done because of a past agreement that Cippy initiated and then didn't follow. I previously banned him for insulting and ignoring other staff members. He was not banned for doing anything to me. When I see someone disrespecting and insulting people who volunteer to keep this place running it is a bit of a trigger for me. After Cippy was originally banned he reached out to @PtldPlatypus and said that if he were unbanned he would only post in the basketball section of the forum and wouldn't insult people anymore. I did not ask for this but I accepted it and unbanned him. He set the terms for his return. He then did not do what he said he was going to do. Not that long ago he had multiple posts with multiple insults. I asked him to clean up his own insults and posts. He refused. It's not about degree of insults. It's not about whether or not I like him. And it has nothing to do with his personal or political beliefs or opinions. I reach out to people all the time both publicly and privately about posts or incidents in the forum. I have reached out to you previously. While those discussions are not always successful they are respectful. Personal insults are edited and/or removed when seen.
I didn’t expect it to end with a ban. I was also hoping there might be others aside from me in my original post admitting to their past actions leading to the degradation of the site. I’ve been trying to still post my beliefs but with more civility and with an attempt at listening to differing opinions. But it doesn’t help. I still love the dogs thread.
Maybe just a personal ethic, but I know I'd be upset if someone publicly posted one of my DM's without my permission. I appreciate the consideration.

Definitely not Cippy. You might be confusing him with Cup? And to be fair, Cup just thinks it's important to delineate fact from opinion, and to present opinion as such.
