I very rarely get that type of stressed anymore. My stresses are usually either work or money related. But when I do get stressed, I like to do some of the following: Work on a project Drive somewhere beautiful Drink a glass of really good wine - one that in some way I have a connection with. go on a bike ride fuck (perhaps I should have put this one earlier on the list) write or cook, something creative What other people suggest that doesn't work for me: Drink or smoke to intoxication go to the gym yoga / meditate
I go onto forums and I draw them into arguments that cannot be won by either side. Oh, and I also make fun of Slypokerdog.
Can always go the american way. Eat more chips and watch more sitcoms on the couch and stay up all night and turn into a stressed out zombie.
I don't deal with stress, I eliminate it. Ignore on forums is your friend. There is no reason to ever argue with anyone online. In a lot of cases the argument is all they are after anyway, so why give them the satisfaction? Stay away from caffeine and sugar, they tend to make a person more anxious. As far as apartment living goes, dead neighbors are the quietest so move near a cemetery. Sorry, I can't help you with live neighbors. Nor does this imply that I can help you make your live neighbors, dead neighbors. If all else fails, we'll see you on the 5 O'clock news!
Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Further mentioned driving somewhere nice. Now that I have a nice, comfy Cadillac SLS land yacht to drive, I'm going to do just that. Something which I wasn't able to do in the little shitbox Kia I drove. I might even go camping.....I did that a lot when I was in Scouts. So today I'm driving to Camas to Top Burger, which my mother used to take my sister and I to when we were kids. I might find some nice road in Washougal to drive on too. http://roadsnw.com/western-washington-roads
Amen. Until I get a tent and sleeping bag though, driving is going to be my cure. Just found this site: https://www.myscenicdrives.com/regions/washington Wouldn't mind driving on the Ice Caves route of Highway 14. But that's a bit far for me today. So I'm off to Camas, and then the Silver Star Scenic Area.
doing great choice - just remember not to let traffic or road assholes get under your skin. When you drive for relaxation- you have nowhere you need to be.
