I think there are plenty of "trouble" teams left on the schedule. The 3 game road trip of LAC, Pels, and Spurs won't have any pushovers. Blazers have a home & away left against Detroit and they've won 12 or their last 15 and have looked strong doing so. The home game against Indiana is not likely to be a cakewalk. There's a road game against Minny and they have a better home record than Utah.

    my guess would be 12-5

Hes an even smaller and worse defender.

    I’d take 12-5. Won’t get us 2 seed though.

It must be tough being a Wolves fan. They gave Wiggin's & Town's the farm and have only made the playoffs 1 time in fifteen years. Different GM & Coaches haven't made much of an impact and I feel for the fans. Especially after being in a better position draft wise than many teams over the years. To me, this is a case where they should create continuity with a coach and a system with his type of players. I though they would be doing that with Thibs as one of the better thought of coaches in the league. Im thinking Towns will be the next Big Star to demand a trade?

Thibs seems like a Schuler/ Carlismo type coach that tend to wear players thin.

True but how many guards play good defense in today's NBA? Or should I say how many guards are allowed to play good defense in today's NBA? I really miss the days where hand checking was allowed.

statistically? quite a few things actually:

    points/FGA: CJ 1.18....Lou 1.32
    TS%: CJ .551....Lou .555
    FT Rate: CJ .158....Lou .434
    PER: CJ 16.7....Lou 21.7
    assist rate: CJ 13.2%....Lou 33.7%
    assists/100 possessions: CJ 4.0....Lou 9.6
    winshare/48: CJ .106....Lou .130
    box plus/minus: CJ -0.2....Lou +1.0

    annual salary: CJ 27.6M....Lou 8M

now, Lou is posting these numbers as a 6th man, so his role is different than CJ's. He doesn't really have to defer to a player like Dame

I'd love for the Blazers to have Lou Williams as a 6th man. He could fill the roles of both Curry and Turner, and do a great job....much better than the two he replaced. At least so on the offensive end. Defense?...not so much

I wouldn't trade CJ for Lou though, but that's mainly because I'm holding out the remote hope that Portland will trade CJ for a better return

As a 6th man I think Lou and CJ would be the best.
