I know a lot of you hate on ET because of his salary, but I think he is not healthy. He has not been shooting well at all since he went out with the injury and it seems everything just comes up short. I wonder just how healthy he is.

So Kanter is stepping up? Good.

I wish we could see this team against a better opponent, so that we can get a better idea of how good or bad we are without Nurk and CJ.

To some of you Salary cap guys, why did they let Rolo go, to begin with? I realize they wanted to start over and get young, but he was like 26? I'm glad they ended up with Nurkic, but I've kind of never heard a good explanation on the Lopez stuff, I always thought he was a solid center.

The only negative I see is we gave up 9 offensive rebounds that half I hope Stotts is pointing that out to them at the half.

Was he shooting good before the injury?

IIRC, while I doubt this played much of a reason on why we let him go, he was awful on Defense against good centers. Not even elite centers.....just good ones.

That's just how I remember it, mind you.

Well he definitely wasn't "elite", wasn't their defense with that team overall pretty good though?

Yes he was shooting very good from the elbow and the key. He shot was averaging 44-52% per month until his injury, since his injury he is just shooting in the low 30's so a big drop.

He's been scouted. Need to run some other action to get him open. And he's not trusting his shot

Bulls offered him $54M. Didn't make sense for the Blazers to pay him more than that to anchor what was believed to be a rebuilding team, especially since we had Meyers who was presumably fresh off his breakout series against the Grizz, and had just traded for Plumlee.

I think you meant "He has not been shooting well at all since he came into the league and it seems everything just comes up short."

That is the norm for him. For some reason everyone just remembers the 10 or so games when he did more and think that for some reason is the norm.

Yep, also a couple times I saw players (mostly Meyers) ball watching instead of going for a rebound.

I think someone shooting over 50% for a month when playing a bunch is considered shooting well. Just need to get past your hate of his salary. Which is not his fault. I doubt anyone of the haters would have turned it down.
