I don't understand what the Blazers are doing. They're down by 14 with 1:48 to go on a b2b. You aren't coming back. They're acting like it was a 6 or 7 point game. So they really want to play till the final whistle, ok I can respect that. Play smart basketball, nope. They drew up a play from a TO that was a pass to where only guys in Black Jerseys were standing. They fouled with 1 second left before an 8 second violation. Then they were setting really crappy screens and not even getting good looks from distance which was basically their only shot of coming back.

I mean I guess I'm not a coach in the NBA and all that stuff, but I don't get it...

Yes. You wouldn’t get the shots off. You wouldn’t even get open to begin with. They are bigger, stronger, and faster than you.

Nope, Stotts is great. ISO and Basic P&R is the way to go. Can't wait till playoffs, our opponent will never see it coming :)

Oh, and 3s. Especially if we're missing. Because we're guaranteed a 46% conversion rate from Meyers, he just has to shoot a million!

    Stotts timeout plays strike again!

But also, Evan Turner, can you not see the color black? Haha. That was bad.

Well sometimes your going have shooting nights like this. We had no answer with Jackson and Drummond. But positive we did have 18 offensive rebounds.

Well it was doubtful we’d win out the year. Still on track to win 50. Go Blazers.

I hate dumb basketball and my teams have played far too much of it today. This week's been the worst.

we couldn't buy a jump shot all night...almost all our points were in the paint or putbacks...just a really, really ugly night shooting the ball by everybody on the roster really. team loss

Hahahahaha you aren’t 6’5” and if Akeem can go from paint to block Starks for three, other NBA players can do it to you.

I mean I'm not really upset, or throwing it all on Stotts, they're gonna lose games. I just thought the way they played out the last couple minutes was bad...
They played really bad all night, just one of those nights I suppose. They hadn't played a lot of B2B's lately that I remember maybe they just weren't ready for it, I dunno.

I hate to say that the Blazers offensive 90 percent of the time so this is not new.

You realize NBA heights are taken in shoes, right? 6'5 and a quick release. I could get off shots. Whether I would make them or not is a valid argument. But whether or not I could get then off is ridiculous.

Andre Drummond making a trampoline out of your nose with a basketball maybe?....I don't think you understand the speed or strength of NBA level play..good to have swagger though, I'll give you that Bones.

Safe bet is we won't ever know. So really the answer is "No you could not go 2-17" against the Detroit Pistons in a game like this after playing an entire season on the second of a B2B on the road. NBA players would eat you alive.
Now can you shoot? Maybe so. But lets try to stay real here. Like i said i understand it's a game thread and all but C'mon dude. This ain't the 3 on 3 summer rec league.

I've played against numerous D1 players, and a couple of future fringe NBA guys. I understand the level of play. I don't think Drummond would be guarding me. I'm just saying, I'm 6'5 and get shots off as fast as your average NBA player. So I don't see why I'd struggle to get shots off.
