As a Blazer fan watching OKC play poorly is great.

Is it? Did this loss tonight raise the chances of us matching up with them in the first round. Because if so, I wish they had won.

No idea, what it does for their playoff seeding, but I don't really care either when they lose I'm happier than when they win heh.

Based on the schedules of every team, my guess is we will fall to 5th and play the Jazz or fall to 6th and play the Rockets.

We should beat every team on our schedule other than the Denver games and it's likely we split those. I haven't heard anything on CJ though, but I think they should go 5-1 to finish out the season.

The game tomorrow night is huge. They lose that and I can very easily see them dropping another 2. If they win then I would be more inclined to agree with you.

Well, a lot depends on how other teams play too, the last 2-3 games of the season get kind of weird with, "who wants to win" stuff.

Not a huge fan of the ref that threw him out. He looks like a character out of Deliverance...... and he is a sub-par ref. But I love that he didn't take any of Pops shit tonight.

He's the one that tripped on Nurk's broken leg.

that seems overly optimistic to me

tomorrow night may not be easy, although you never know what kind of an effort you'll get from a team going nowhere. Minny can be a handful at their place and they just beat the Warriors there

Memphis should be an easier game and they have an injury list as longs as Chicago's

I sure wouldn't count on a spit with Denver either. It's possible but a long ways from probable

and Portland has a B2B to close the season, at LAL which just crushed the Pels on the road (their season final so they might give a good effort), and the final against the Kings who just beat the Spurs in San Antonio. And the Blazers are 11-13 in B2B if I'm doing my math right

These guys just beat golden state. This game is far from easy.

How are the Nuggets so much better than us?? They’re only a couple games ahead of us. We will be highly favored at home. Split is more than probable.

We are more likely to get 3rd than 5th. We are tied in losses with Houston and we have the tiebreaker.

No NBA game is easy, ok maybe Chicago because their whole team is out. The thing is teams get up to play GS though, Portland isnt as big of a deal.

Any given night an NBA team is capable of beating another. My guess would be that the Blazers will be favored in all there games except the Denver ones.

You think we will be “highly favored” against them at home? What makes you think this?

Id be surprised if we were more then a 5-6 point favorite in any of the games left after the Nurk and CJ injuries. We will be favorites in many of those games though.

Yeah in large part because almost everyone the Blazers are playing have shut down their best players too. LA no Lebron, Memphis Conley has been in and out of the lineup, Minnesota’s missing a few guys, not sure what Sacremento will be up to by then.
Theorhetically Dame will be the best player on the court in all those games except I could see some people might argue Jokic over Dame. I dont agree with it, but I know people who would argue that.
