    You know he is playing poorly, but this is just on another level.

    Through 11 games in 15 mpg, he is putting up 1.6 pts, 3.2 rebs, 2.5 asts and 1 turnover per game on 28.6% FG, 0% from 3, and 50% from the line.

    Why is he getting ANY minutes?

    18 million. Good Lord.

    Because he’s the only one besides Lillard (and Nurk) that can create for others. Blame Olshey for not finding a better backup point guard.

    I refuse to believe that Simons would be worse in that role. Or even Curry.

    Holy shit i didnt know it was that bad. Fuck his contract and give Simons all the minutes, who cares at this point without Nurk and CJ, Simons cant be worse than ET. Dude every time Evan has the ball in his hands i'm scared of another turnover. He's such a poor passer

    People, look past the minute detail-- the point is he is not even averaging a single bucket per game. How does that happen to a 10 yr veteran?

    If you throw out the 8 assist game against the G-League Chicago Bulls it's even worse.

    That's my biggest complaint with the 2nd unit is there no true play maker. Turner has is moment in some games but he is a decent rebounder for a guard and occasionally he plays defense. But with is injuries and due to his lack of 3 point shooting he been below average player on any contract. Now replaced him with Simons or even Trent you still don't got that play maker. You do got better shooting at the 3. But defense side on these 2 it still up in the air and both players are not as good rebounder then Turner.

    I know why some of you are high on Simons due he can shoot the ball. But right now I would say Trent is more ready at this level.

    The problem with Trent in my opinion anyways is that he Shoots all the time... Never seen a shot he didnt want to Jack up. I like both guys ok, I wouldnt say Im high or low on either guy, I just think in terms of playing point and orchestrating an offense that seems more in Simons wheel house then Trents.

    I don’t think that guy is on the roster. Simons is more CJ than Lillard. Guys like Rondo and Teodosic should be a priority this summer. The goal should be to go into next season with Turner on another team or in street clothes waiting to get bought out/contract to expire.

    You are probably right, but I dont see how giving Simons a chance this year to see if he could be that wouldve hurt them more than playing ET.

    I wonder if Stotts would be okay with Rondo after what happened in Dallas with his buddy Carlisle. I might be a moot point if Stotts gets fired though.
