    Anytime someone needs to mention the fact "I have XXX on ignore!".

    Total virtue signaling.

    I think the ignore feature is dumb, personally. Some people get too triggered when there is disagreement though.

    nah...it's like a mute button on a remote control so you can shut off the annoying ads....really it's that simple...I don't think I'm virtue signaling when I mute an O'Reilly's Auto Zone ad while listening to a game....I think of several posters as annoying commercials...the tool is a tool, that's all it is...reading some emo shit into it is for others to fantasize about

    If you have to mention and single out specific posters saying they are on mute, its virtue signaling. The whole point of mute is to have them out of sight, out of mind. If you have someone on ignore, u should just forget they exist instead of trying to be a little passive aggressive bitch!
