It's not, but I have been averaging over 30 MPG, so I'm pretty pleased about that.

I had a Chevy Blazer 2wd low rider stolen twice. Once on the night of my bachelor party in front of Lung Fung restaurant on 82nd and Division (not sure why I put Powell) as my fiance at the time was having her bachelorette party there as they had a ball room where concerts played at and I stopped by on my way home and was in the parking lot a few feet away from my car. All of a sudden a chick jumps into it and drives off hitting bottom and driving like she was a Nascar driver. The next time was in front of my house. The funny part is that my brother in law saw the car being driven on i-84 and watched the Blazer take the Gateway exit. He though nothing of it as I had mentioned I was thinking of selling it. That next day I get a call from the police saying they found the car abandoned near Gateway shopping center and if I pick it up they won't call for a tow and cause all sorts of fees to rack up which I thought was cool.

Man that's the worst. Never had one stolen (knock on wood), but broken into a ton.

    UPDATE as if anybody cares:

But after the car sat at the bodyshop for 10 days waiting on an inspection from Allstate, I took it to social media and kinda' put 'em on blast. No joke got a reply from them 2 minutes later and a phone call 5 minutes later from the head guy in the region apologizing for the delay. Sent somebody out first thing this morning and said they were waiving our $500 deductible because of the inconvenience. Win-Win for TPFKATHCP! Who says all social media is bad?

Oh yeah, many break ins myself. The worst was shortly after we purchased a Lincoln Navigator and I was installing a high end custom sound system in it. It consisted of a beautiful and rare McIntosh stereo amp along with 2 other amps. I pretty much had finished it up but hadn't really secured anything and a few nights later it was broken into and my amps, subwoofers and deck were stolen. I was PISSED. Well, insurance covered it and the first thing I did was install an alarm system and made sure everything was secure with the custom amp box bolted to the floor with security bolts. Well, a few nights later, the alarm goes off and I jump up and race out only to see a white smaller SUV racing down the street and vanishing. It was obviously someone who had been monitoring what I was doing in the driveway. They didn't try again.

I care and for the Love of all things holy....make sure the shop knows you want it right and not fast. The only words most shop production managers know are hurry faster and today.

I'm with you. My car was never stolen but it was broken into twice. Actually, while I was still married to my first wife, she had a secret boyfriend who took it and her on a joy ride. That was about 45 years ago and to this day I'd like to break his nose.

I had nightmare problems with State Farm in Seattle. Never had a single problem in Oregon but Seattle is different. Anyhow, they delayed and delayed coming to see my car while insisting that I had to come to their shop for an estimate. I told them I was working a lot of overtime and in Everett where I had never spent any time before. Finally, I called them and said I'm having the work done tomorrow and if you want to see it you'd be get out there to take a look before tomorrow morning. I threw in a front end alignment and a more expensive rental just because I was pissed.

Funny thing is that the regional State Farm office here in Oregon said they couldn't make me go to State Farm for an estimate but every State Farm office that I called in the Seattle area said I needed to go to their claim center shop for my estimate. After a lot of grief, I ignored this.

I always went to either The New Republic or Hung Far Lo's in Chinatown. They both served excellent Tomato Beef Chow Yuk with Chinese pea pods.

Our silver Camry has been hit several times, none of them were our fault, and all three were just stupid. First time, some idiots sitting in front of my wife at a stoplight, put the car into reverse and backed into her. Still not sure why. Luckily they didn’t try to contest it or it would have been hard to prove that we were't at fault. We got a dash cam after that one. Second time, I was sitting at a light on TV Highway and an older guy in an SUV plowed into the back of the Camry going 35-40 mph. That didn't really feel good. They should have totaled the car..... but they didn't. Last time, my wife and I were walking out of Fred Meyer and we watched some dumbass chick back into our parked car.

I thought silver was supposed to be easy to see....... but alas, three times we were hit by morons.

I'd really really really like to see your rear frame rails if you were hit from behind at that speed.

Really? I always avoided silver cars because they disappear on the road, especially with the cloudy weather in Portland.

But, people have managed to run into my cars standing in red lights even tho I usually drive red cars - people just do not pay attention.

I had a rental car in San Francisco that was stolen. That was interesting.

Our lawyer had a guy take a look at them. The dealer didn't fix it right the first time and then we had another company fix it.

But yeah.... it was like 14k in repairs. I don't know why they didn't total it.

Not surprised at all. Glad it got taken care of.

We just had an old Corolla come in this week that had at some point had a rear body panel and quarter panel replaced.

Not even welded together. We have to turn these kinds of cars away unless the owner pays to fix it properly.

Even though all it was here for was a bumper.
