Coincidentally it doesn't happen to be a brick 4 or 6 plex one level on the south side of Alberta? I can't remember for sure but my sister and brother in law moved into a small complex in that area after my brother in law got out of the army back in the early 70's and don't recall if it was Alberta or Prescott.
Be very careful. The ones you see may not move, but ones behind you are gradually moving closer. barfo
wow, it might be the same place. That area has grown up a lot as further west on Alberta are a lot of nice shops and restaurants and then the Albina district on Mississippi has really grown. My son and fiance live off Rosa Park Way a couple blocks west of MLK.
I bet most people you think are rich aren’t actually rich. The technical definitions are one that most people don’t actually qualify for and that’s not because of what they earn - but the assets they own!
Did you mean La Sirenita? Can't find a menu for it. When Chevy's started declining about 10 years ago, I couldn't find a good Mexican restaurant. I love great chips with great salsa. Also love steak fajitas and Chile Relleno. Also like good sweet corn mush. And of course, there must be a great margarita. One other thing, don't you think a Mexican restaurant ought to serve at least one Mexican beer?
I used to work across the street for many years. I know that area pretty well. The apartments and homes in that neighborhood have really gone down hill.
I remember coming back from college and all of a sudden its like mexican gang central. Beaverton really took a shit in the early late 90s to early 2000s. Got back on its feet.
I grew up in Oswego. Probably much nicer now but it was great for a little boy back then. I could swim in the lake, fish in the lake and Tryon creek and ride my bike all over town. I was very active.
Do you remember the Westgate theater or Earthquake Ethel's? The Westgate theater used to sit where the Beaverton Round is today. Earthquake Ethel's was on the East side of the intersection of Jenkins and Cedar Hills Blvd. By the way, the Cedar Hills Crossing location used to be a small plane airport. I know you wouldn't know that because it goes back to the mid 50s.
Yep. I was young for earthquake ethels but remeber seeing it when we were at the auto parts store next door. Watched a ton of movies at Westgate. Spent much of my youth at Wunderland
