Also, that dude fell off a cliff production wise, even with Aaron Rodgers. Wouldn't call him all that talented anymore.

Man, the offensive line is the most important thing in football (I’m mad we neglected it so long). It really was that important, you’re a Niners fan, could it be your bias that is holding your view back? Also, Carson is not a mediocre back, he finished with IIRC the 5th most rushing yards in the NFL while sharing carries with two other backs.

Graham just had 50+ catches and 600+ yards last season, that’s really good still at TE (top 10).

I know it's important. Not saying it's not at all.

First off, your a Seahawks fan, you're going to be a little biased. Trying to say he "split carries" but he had many more carries than Joe Mixon, Christian McCaffrey, James Connor, Melvin Gordon, etc. He was 7th in the league in carries. 4.7 average is solid but not great. He doesn't catch passes. He had the opportunity to play awful teams in San Fran and Arizona for a quarter of his season. Arizona was the worst run defense in the league. He's an average RB at best. I could probably name 15 RBs better than him.

Seahawk fans tend to get carried away with labeling players as "good". I know Rawls had injury issues but fans got carried away with him. Penny too. Now it's Carson.

He's not a Top 5 TE anymore. Maybe not even Top 10. He had the privilege of having Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball while trying to come back from deficits all season.

He did split carries, I think you’re underestimating how much Seattle ran the ball last year. Mike Davis had 100+ carries, Penny had 80+ carries, Wilson had 60+ carries. Wilson only had the 20th most pass attempts in the entire NFL (was still sacked 50+ times). Carson also missed two games to injury (was banged up a ton) and had 13 combined carries the first two weeks of the season on top of that. For him to finish with as much yardage as he did is amazing, considering his 4.7 yards per carry on heavy usage.

I think you’re sounding like quite a hater.

But your using "split carries" and "missed games" but "was still 5th in rushing yards" to try and make him sound better as if he didn't carry the ball as much as he did. That's a typical biased-fan argument. He's definitely not a top 10 RB.

    Let's go Cowboys!!

Random thought. I like the way the NFL uses ex-players etc to announce the draft pick.

I'd like to see that used at the NBA draft too, seems to really change the vibe. There's Soo much room to grow that event.

I'm not sure the commish would let go of his big day in the sun though.

    That's all. Carry on.

    Christian McCaffrey
    Alvin Kamara
    Saquon Barkley
    James Connor
    Joe Mixon
    David Johnson
    Leonard Fournette

Are all better than Connor. Could make the argument for a few others.

He carried the ball a ton I’m not disputing that, but he did while still racking up 4.7 yards a carry. His production was fantastic and he put up some highlight reel runs. I’m just going to stop this debate, it’s going nowhere.

The NBA will have a full G-League system at some point. A true minor leagues. At that point, I expect them to go to a 4, maybe even 5 round draft. Would allow more rounds for that.

    Day One: 1st & 2nd Rounds
    Day Two: 3rd, 4th, & 5th Rounds

That'd be a lot of fun, actually. Look at how the Spurs have used the G-League to develop/find guys like Derrick White, Bryn Forbes, etc. The Nuggets for guys like Torrey Craig, Monte Morris, etc. Royce O'Neal for Utah. Fred VanVleet for Toronto. Khem Birch for Orlando. It's becoming more and more viable in terms of a developmental tool.

    4.7 isn't good for a Top 10 RB.

We will see, I’m optimistic but he isn’t a fluid athlete, more of a run straight and jump guy. Great red zone potential.
