Tells me that you don't understand the point at all. I've been over Trump since Bolton took over. SWAMP. None of you have even the slightest inclination to fact check Amazon Prime Daily...I mean the Washington Post. They're lying about Trumps "misleading statements" Straight up fucking lying. The excuse I'm gonna get is the same for the Bosa tweet story.... (Edit, it might be 8000 misleading statements but when they lie about many who knows?) Well, he just lies sooooo much so you gotta expect people won't give him the benefit of the doubt. It makes me sick. Back to the point you didn't get....people hoped Trump meant the stuff he said before the election. Like Hillary would just waste his tax money. Then he spends millions going back and forth to his golf club. They KNEW Hillary was a swamp rat. They got fooled again. Which is what will happen next time. The corporate Democrats are going to promise free college and free healthcare and free this and that and reparations and God knows what else. The one thing I'm certain of is that they won't deliver jack shit.
The more schooling thing was in response to a Maris claim. I did not bring that subject up. I hope we can bury that.
So, there was this big big Texan visiting Alaska. He goes into a bar and strikes up a conversation. This big burly Alaskan says "We have three tests for a man in Alaska. 1. He's gotta drink a fifth of bourbon without taking a breath of air. 2. He's gotta make love to an Eskimo woman all night long. 3. He's gotta wrestle a grizzly bear." The Texan says "Give me that bottle of bourbon" and drinks it straight down. Then he says point me in the direction of the grizzly bear. He storms out of the taven and the Alaskans realize they've seen the last of that Texan alive. A day later the Texan enters the tavern all torn up with his clothes in rags and says "Now, where's that Eskimo woman you want me to wrestle?"
You always reference Pulitzer Prize wins when you badmouth Fox News. Watch this video...please please please.
"From Politifact (winner of a Pulitzer Prize): The Pulizter Prizes are a household name, but they do not cover television broadcast journalism. But their approximate equivalent can be found in the duPont-Columbia Awards. The Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Awards honoring excellence in broadcast journalism were established in 1942 by Jessie Ball duPont in memory of her husband, Alfred I. duPont. The duPont Awards, administered since 1968 by Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, are considered to be the most prestigious broadcast journalism awards and the equivalent of the Pulitzer Prizes, which are also administered at the Journalism School. Once again, public broadcasting is the cream of the crop. PBS has 23, WBGH in Boston has 21 (many shared with PBS), and National Public Radio has earned 17. CBS and ABC each have 13, NBC 7, and CNN 6. MSNBC and Court TV have two, and National Geographic , CNBC and Current TV all have one. Fox News Channel? Zero."
I mentioned Pulitzer Prize winners not to get you to watch a Fox News clip but to watch a video involving a Pulitzer Prize winner and an independent journalist who won something called an Izzy Award (never heard of it before) I don't watch Fox either. See some Tucker Carlson vids on YouTube once in a while.
Tucker Carlson doesn't broadcast on any of the credible sources that I view. In addition, I just don't have time for additional sources. I have no idea who the source of your video is so I didn't watch it. Assuming the video shows a Pulitzer prize winning source making a grievous mistake, I can only say that everyone makes a mistake once in a while. I'll presume that the offending source has apologized for their error. The true test of credibility is the source having a good track record. We can follow that up with reviewing their releases if we have the time which I really don't. Don't forget, I spend about 30 or more hours a week at the VA hospital and then I get home wiped out. I have to depend on other credible sources to review the work of a particular source telling some particular story. Yeah, pretty near everything needs to be reviewed by someone with expertise and is reputable. Sources that aren't credible don't get any of my valuable time.
It is about an interview done by a Pulitzer Prize winner who was fired from the NYT (corporate media) for speaking out against the Iraq war. On GASP...RT...formerly known as Russian Times because the American corporate media is so corrupt. The corporate media has got you hooked, not me. Your sources are garbage. You defended the frigging Huffpost not too long ago. YUCK
Sorry, but I only go by sources that have been consistently recognized by highly reputable organizations for their excellence in journalism. That's the best I can do. I can't expect everyone to be perfect 100% of the time.
I honestly can't believe you say this stuff. How can you expect the truth if you only listen to one side of an issue? These guys in the video hate Trump more than the top three Trump haters in this forum. I don't agree with everything they believe but I respect them for telling the truth as they know it to be. These sources you respect are not what they used to be. That's like saying you only buy stuff at Sears cuz in 1965...... I try restaurants based on Yelp reviews. More than half the time I like them. I don't keep going to one with good reviews if I (me) don't like it. I use my own judgement.
Are you alright river? I have been sort of off line at the VA Hospital. At my boat now, reading a few of your posts, and can't make any sense of them!
Hey! Maybe you'll read something I post. Like this article that shows how misleading the Washington Post is. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/w...ump-untruths-is-about-25-fake-news-2019-04-29 This article in no way says Trump doesn't lie or say misleading things either.
Ha! Change the name and the message is the same you often get from Lanny. We had a discussion once about where Tsunami's are generated. I stated a source that had them all pinpointed over the past 300 or so years, Oceanography and Seamanship, by Dr. William Van Dorn. Lanny rejected the source as he didn't have time to read stuff from a dubious source. Ha! That's Lanny! The good Dr. was a oceanographer and chairman of Scripps’ Ocean Research Division. It is very difficult to find a man more qualified to speak as an expert in any field.
Well forgive me Bodyman, but I had to give that up with only a partial scan. These dudes and the media take everything literally! I can't for the life of me understand what made them so lacking in a sense of humor. Trump is at the same time one of our most honest Presidents and the funniest too. The guy makes me laugh more often than any I can remember, and this is 15 now.
I don't see any evidence for the honesty claim, but I agree about the laughter - I've never laughed at another president anywhere near as often. barfo
