The author of the article points out that the WaPo calls things that Trump says misleading when he tells the literal truth. Trump says "so many jobs have been created since the election" and they call it misleading because Trump didn't say since "my inauguration" Who has time to fact check the WaPo's 10000 claim? I do know that a guy picked the most recent 50 things in two categories he knows well and found the WaPo was wrong on 25-27. The point isn't whether a politician says misleading things. The point is the "media" shouldn't be.

Newspapers do have turnover and they DO get bought by people like....I don't know, the world's richest man...... If the National Enquirer started an award 100 years ago and Fox won it 50 times would that make Fox trustworthy? Nope. The National Enquirer would have to be highly respected by their journalistic peers to have an award worth a damn and they don't. The Pulitzer prize is the most respected award for print journalism excellence in the United States, bar none.
