Won that game despite Dame having--at best--a pedestrian game. There's no way Dame is going to have 3 shitty games in a row right???

Stotts made a real good call putting Hood back in after Harris fouled out. Left Murray alone on an island twice.

Yep he did. It was not a perfect game but he definitely battled the whole game. I give him a pass because until Hood came in he and Dame had no help in the first 3 OTs.

Aminu defended Milsap better then last game, but damn it would be nice if he could hit a clutch shot when he is that wide open.

So another one of the Blazers' playoff opponent gets a triple-double, but comes away with an L as well.

Nice! Get all the numbers you want. The Blazers just want the W.

he had 28 points and 8 assists. Just as important is he didn't force more then a couple of bad shots

Couldn't have scripted this much better.

A classic game, one that will go down in NBA history (and especially so if the Blazers win the series ... or a couple of more series).

On top of that, Jokic played forever. And the Nuggets have to find a way to come back in less than 48 hours on the road and somehow put this behind them or we go up 3-1.

We have the home crowd and the win, which should help us in the energy department. Denver, on top of fatigue, will be challenged to play loose considering the circumstances if they lose.

Im sorry, but that was really careless on Malones part to play Jokic that many minutes. Thats how you get a player injured.

In the postgame interview, Stotts admitted that he was kinda forced to put in Hood because Moe was cramping up.

I mean were 2-0 when he isn't "great" and 0-1 when he is. So if his sub-par games means wins I'll (and Im sure he would) take it. But yeah hopefully he can play slightly better. Still, I don't think they were shitty games, just dub-par for his standards.

I fear the injuries are starting to take their toll on Blazers. It's just tough to beat a team giving them that many second looks and not being able to grab a few offensive rebounds on your own misses.
Kanter is playing his heart out for sure but there is no question he is a shell of what he was before that shoulder injury.
