What a special, amazing, fun, incredible playoff run

This game took so long Russell Westbrook made it to 2020 playoffs and got eliminated in the first round again.

 

Had I gone to the game, I'd still be driving home, haha

 

I just walked in the door to my house at 12:55 AM. I have to get up for work at 6 AM.

I can't imagine how this would feel on the losing end. So worth it the way it turned out though.

Whats really fun is this is the most my GF has been into basketball. She didnt understand the way playoffs worked this year because the last two years she just knows we did terribly. Now shes getting excited with me and its fun to share this with her.

Shes a CNA and works nightshift so I was constantly updating her on the game tonight for her. Nice to have

This game was so long by the end I was almost certain that Will Barton started it as a Blazer.

 

But... but... mediocrity...

 

So much for the so called basketball purgatory we're saddled with for years! Crow café is now serving! It's a good day to be a HOMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Enjoy it while you can. With Kanter/Hood/Curry/Aminu likely to leave and no way to replace them, this could be our high water mark for several seasons.

 

This series is far from over but a WCF appearance is a pretty good watermark. Also Nurkic will hopefully be back next year.

I guess my point is, I am enjoying it while I can.

I dont know, that game last night felt like two heavy weight hitters throwing haymakers and no one giving an inch. I was so proud of how the Blazers handled it, but also have gained a lot of respect for Malone and most of the Denver players. I dont think I’ll count those guys out until its over.

Part of me was thinking man whoever wins this game is going to win the series, but also those teams look to be very evenly matched and both teams have a lot of fight.

Theoden: If this is to be our end, then I would have them make such an end, as to be worthy of remembrance.

Ill remember not just how great of a game that was and how awesome it was as a Blazer fan that the team I cheered for won, but also how good Denver was and how hard they played, great game of basketball.

 

The team is doing better than expected this season, and that's great. I just wish they were in a position to build on this success.
