Boners choices of 3/4/5/ have failed this series hitting a combined 2/36 so that has to come to s screeching halt. Boner pulled tonights line up out of his ass like most of his other ideas. Seattle as a team now has 70 + bombs and Happy boy has given up 9 this year,

This transaction is just one example why I am at odds with Trashman. Nestor Cortes has no major
league experience yet the Yankees add him to the 40 man roster replacing Betances who looks to be finished for
majority of the year. Late August early September seems to be a target date. This move makes the Yankees better
or is it a fill gap move? For all intents & purposes GM is not aiming for quality, but possibility & low cost.
You are supposedly aiming for a championship, yet your player choices are very questionable!

The cameras had more focus on the hat. What was Boner thinking? Why did he not make an issue and ask
the umpires to check that damn hat? I have questioned Boner’s lack of direction and this non move proves
he’s a wuss. Not my kind of manager!

Kikuchi’s fingers were more on the substance on the cap and no one, not the Yankee Idiot, not the
blind umpires, not anyone who was supposed to have authority question a “cheater” at work. What that
pitcher was telling the world was....”Look what I can do & get away with it....” I wonder what MLB
will say to uphold the “integrity” of the game?

First batter and already controversy. Is runner out or safe at second base? Estrada’s fast tag nipped the
    base runner.

Leake, always remember that dumb ass getting caught shoplifting. Making 400,000 K plus per year gets caught with 60 dollars worth of stuff.

Happ....42 pitches through 2. What the fuck. This whole pitching staff has become CC. Gives us 5-6 innings max and then wear the shit outta the bullpen. Why is it that it seems like we are the only franchise that can’t draft/develop pitching? Seriously. I don’t get it. I also don’t get how all these injuries keep happening. Something needs to change in a MAJOR way in this franchise, and I don’t just mean at the major league level.

I also don’t get why we rushed Andujar back with Urshela doing fine and why the heck we are bring up Hicks when he is 0-11 in class A ball. Just let these guys get back to speed down in the minors and come up raking instead of having them try to figure it all out at the major league level. Just doesn’t make sense to me.

First & second no one out and Yankee hitters do not advance the runners. With two outs Maybin
drives in Frazier with single to RF. Yankees 1 Mariners 0

I gotta feeling it's gonna be a "bombs away" kinda night.
Hope not, but if so hopefully it will be the Bronx B2 Bombers.
Although I'd much rather see alot of: " get them on, get them over, get them in", small ball. With an occasional Earl Weaver style three-run bomb.

If I were baboon boneheads Babylon I would thoroughly study Billy Martin, Whitey Herzog, Billy Martin again, Earl Weaver and yes Joe Torre. Then I would cap that off with some more Billy Martin. I would study the great Casey Stengel, Buck Showalter, Billy Martin again with the A's drama Lou Piniella with the Reds and the Mariners, and right back to Billy Martin throughout his entire career.

I would then pull Billy Martin's uniform out of the Yankees Hall of Fame, and where the damn thing. I would didn't study Billy's ability to argue with umpires.

The bun needs to take the bubble gum and shove it up his ass.

I think Hicks is being hurried along; and has had ZERO Hits at A+ Tampa. He's supposed to go to Scranton or Trenton before he makes it back to the Bronx. Personally; I think he needs to spend a week in Tampa; a 2nd week in Trenton; and a 3rd in Scranton; before Trashman and BaBoone begin to think he's ready.

    From CBS-
Hicks has appeared in a trio of minor-league rehab games with High-A Tampa over the past three days, going 0-for-11 with a walk and three strikeouts in those contests. Given the length of his absence, the outfielder will likely need to play in a few more rehab games before being cleared to rejoin the big-league club. As such, Randy Miller of The Newark Star-Ledger speculates that Hicks will continue his rehab with Double-A Trenton or Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre over the weekend before potentially being activated from the injured list when the Yankees return home Monday.

Seems like both GT and andujar were off balance swinging away hacking. The low pitch caught GT off balance; out on his front foot.
The very type of pitch Jeter would have punched a hard ground ball, or a line drive two feet off the ground; up the middle or in the gap on the right side of the field...
    Mr RE2PECT spoiled us...

Andujar acted surprised he even hit the ball off the end of his Bat.

Saw an ESPN sidecar stating that Hicks was tired of Tampa and wants to go to Scranton. God Damn if you can't hit down there what do you think you'll do up there. There's enough rehabbing at the ML Level they don't need another.

    ....^^^^

Indeed- some apologist say/think Trashman is a genius, especially Twitterfks.
Trashman and Company from the top to the very bottom have failed to develop any pitching to speak of in the last 20 years...

Honestly I think the entire staff needs to go. From the illustrious genius GM, every single coach from the top to the bottom as well as the scouts and directors.
Including all the special advisor idiots on the payroll...

That includes every single Trainer an Dr's at every level.
Probably wouldn't hurt if the Steinbrenner kids sold the franchise to a group of investors willing to return this team to Greatness once again
