One thing I think is noteworthy is this is a Curry vs. Curry WCF! Sibling rivalry moment is kind of fun.
Hey, I'm a new member, but I am a bit confused. How is saying, "I love the team. Some "fans"not so much" being divisive, yet throwing shade at a player, coach, or team is not? I have been posting on message boards of many sports since the internet began, and I have always found it funny when an opinion is "ok", but an opinion...of an opinion...is not.
Their hand sign is Gary Trent's trade-mark, according to the players/team. Apparently, he's ALWAYS throwing that up.
What are you talking about? Those are not the only two ways... Some people acted like we had no chance just because we lose or are losing a game and, especially in game threads, say terrible things about our coach and players and say things about the game/season being over. It gets really annoying. And those people have every right to say those things if they really want to be so negative, but they should be able to accept eating some crow after they're wrong.
I guess I'm group B. The Blazers were underdogs to most observers in each of the first two series, but I, myself, have had in each series a bright flame of confidence they would win. Now they are clearly the underdog, but I strongly believe they have a chance. They certainly won't be swept, that's for sure.
Game threads are highly emotional by their very nature. I question how fair it is to judge people over that.
no need to judge anybody, we have ignore buttons that will clear it right up..game threads used to be filled with humor and comradery, last couple years they're filled with stupid rants, negative affirmations and bitching contests...not for me..I post more post game or halftime these days...I enjoy Brian Wheeler's approach to a game. He's plenty emotional but in a good way.
Totally totally totally agree. I've been perplexed by the call outs (that aren't in good fun). It just shows how fucking weird us humans are.
Huh? Where was your happiness when you called our team “not very good” and a “steaming pile of shit roster”? I always believed in the team. I’ve enjoyed ALL the moments. Nothing has changed.
Dude. I still remember you saying you wanted to see a WCF this year during one of the games. You clearly wanted it so bad and the fact that the team has given you that is a big part of my happiness right now. ::
