Listen to Kerr's game 2 post game interview and get back to me...Stotts coached a great game 2.....still gets no respect from all his detractors...Kerr didn't flinch when he said he was outcoached.....the champs held home court and we battled back in game 2....I thought it was a great game. You're welcome to dislike Stotts, just respect folks that like him and we'll have some balance around here.

Stotts is a players coach...I'd assume you know what that means...he trusts his pt guard to take that shot and call that play. He lives with the results of that trust.....the opposite of Stan Van Gundy. The players love playing for Stotts because of that trust.

I didn't see that post. Hasn't Cup been warned numerous times about that same personal attack about Bones?

Not disrespecting anyone who likes Stotts. You may have me confused with someone else. They are perfectly in their right to like him as I believe I am perfectly in my right to like him at times and question him at others.

And it's easy for Kerr to say he was out-coached.....when he just won.

I agree the players love him....but do they love his career playoff record? The best coach I ever had I didn't really like...but respected the hell out of him because he held me, and everyone on the team including the stars accountable. He was tough to deal with on a day-to-day basis but we won...which was the goal.

Iggy and Draymond won the endgame but as Kerr said, they stole a game they should have lost.

If that were the case he could've just said "Yes" instead of fumbling a non answer for 20 seconds.

Stotts never addresses adjustments until he watches film....he says that all the time...I'll look at the film and address that...I watched his interview and no way he fumbled for 20 seconds in the interview...the guy has a right to his own decompression after a game like that.

Insomnia is a tough deal bro. I deal with at times also. I did also make a wise crack about posting all night.
It was wrong and i apologize for that to you and also @BonesJones . Totally uncalled for. I get frustrated as much as others when i feel strongly about things.
We are all looking for wins and we all are competitive by nature so it springs forward at times.

    Take care.
    Go Blazers!

I'll try to find the response and give you an honest answer. You most definitely deserve that.

This is what i'm thinking also. Tough position. I'm betting he was as frustrated as all of us also. They had that game and he knew it. They should not have been in that position in the first place. It was his last timeout because he had to use two back to back when Aminu and Kanter melted down. Tough situation.

To his credit, the post in question was quickly deleted, and by the poster himself, rather than by a mod.

No, you're wrong on this one. I'm talking about his answer last night. It wasn't a question about an adjustment. He was asked what was the call on the final play, a Dame iso?

I watched it....he didn't fumble around for 20 secs...I think he was baffled as it was obvious Dame was going for the game tying 3 and got stripped by Iggy...the coach trusted Dame to take a 3 when the clock was expiring....it's not like he hasn't been clutch all his career...to me Stotts is just showing that....your best player takes that shot....Iggy made a great defensive play...credit Iggy..Dame has a green light to shoot that anytime.

Not sure what you think Stotts should have called, but giving the ball to your best player and letting him do his thing often is the best choice, especially given that your second best player couldn’t hit his own ass with a 2x4 all 4th quarter. Dame made a great play to put OKC away. He screwed the pooch (sorry Sly) this time by deciding to drive on Iggy instead of doing what he did to George.

You tend to dwell on anything negative when it comes to Stotts because you don't like him and
No he doesn't, especially after the way he has been treating you lately.

This is NOT Dame hate....but that he has been clutch all of his career is something that is said that isn't close to being back up by his stats. I forget who it was but some member of the media put something together that measured the success rate of Dame shooting the last shot in a game. It was quite woeful. Not that Dame hasn't hit some HUGE shots....but we tend to forget the countless misses. His conversion rate is quite low. (around 11% or something like that?)

So, if I blamed Olshey for putting together a flawed roster - you'd agree? Or would you start hectoring me about how Olshey is a great GM?
