Just for kicks what if the coaches had the rosters exchanged- who coach’s the best? Would Portland have won both games?

I like your posts but if you sit a player you must have a reasonable player to play while you are sitting the other player. Stotts does not have that luxury. We are short handed and the player you might play may be as bad or worse or inexperienced. This is the conmundrum!

It'll be interesting to see how Bud handles the warriors. Also drops his big every time, including Giannis.

Which is why that kind of accountability needs to start on the 1st day of the season so that it is well ingrained before the play-offs.

well, 53 wins, a 3rd seed in the west and a wcf appearance tells me he must have done more than enough to get this team ready.

This is true but I don't think is the players thou. He throu out defense that the players didn't practice very much and you don't practice it your not going be very successful at it. You going to miss or forget where your supposed to rotate to. That the little things that can win or loose a game. Golden States wins due they do the little things right more often. Plus they got more play makers then we do on the court at one time. They got 4 good play makers in there starting lineup we got one and half that Dame and CJ can play make but not real good at it.

Believe me we had great season and very good playoffs run. I you just can't throw Stotts under the bus everytime we loose because there a lot fault can go around for every loss. CJ is right can't blame the coach for turnovers you can't blame the coach if the players can't a shot or rebounds and staying in front of someone on defense that's on the players. But you can blame a coach for a team not ready to play and you can blame about the game plan he throws out there or lack of try control the game with timely timeout. When they mic a coach in timeout they really don't say anything they might draw a play up but you don't here now when we trap you must rotate down here to take this area you might here your great or lets keep pushing the ball but know telling player your out of position on defense or tell Zach quit chasing players to screen one reason he gets offensive foul the guard don't use his screen or the guard goes to wide and he try to move to get the screen. You don't see a lot individual coaching come out of timeout by the assistance you might see one saying something to Dame or CJ. Big man coach should in the bigs ear coming timeout especially a young player like Zach.

Playing the contrarian. Parsing the most simple comments looking for something to be offended by.

Portland would've won at least 1, maybe both.

Stotts would sweep with GS roster...hands down...it's hard to lose with that much talent even if you try. Kerr took a long leave of absence and the Warriors didn't skip a beat.

So either you think we'll get swept, or you think Stotts is a better coach than Kerr.

I like both Stotts and Kerr for pretty similar reasons. If Stotts had that kind of 3 pt shooting he'd win a ring in short order.

Golden State is fucking good.....we're not dysfunctional because they kept homecourt .. Only the Lakers media seem bent on explaining how they "lose" instead of just simply owning that the other team "won"....all the extra banter is pretty silly to me. That we could have won is encouraging...lot of series left...could go 7
