Seriously all this Dame hate, what do you want him to do? Attack every double team? Pass every time? Make every shot? He’s clearly having a shit time this series and he knows it, but what can he do? Just continue playing.

When you got offensive when players stand still with there fingers up there ass and two small guards try dribbling between double team or there to small pass over the double. This why I don't like small 2 guards. Actually the 2nd move more than the 1st unit. I use to hound about his defense concept but if this there offensive concept it pretty bad.

But also, his energy is contagious. That team didn't quit down 31. We quit up 10.

Most of the fanbases in NBA would give everything to be in our spot. The difference is, when you're at this spot, you want more. And we're just not good enough for that one more step.

Maybe if we move him to SG and get a real PG. CJ and dame are good scorers and pretty good tandem when they are shooting well. No defense whatsoever from either.

I know this won't be popular but i'm in the camp that we need to trade CJ for a strong Wing. Go after someone like Mike Conley in the offseason and we have a shot to compete for a Championship again next year.

The way we are currently structured, it won't happen.

Nene, Austin Rivers, Iman Shumpert, and Gerald Green are 3&D specialists? Because that’s who comes off the bench for them. Capela has been awful the last two postseasons against Golden State. PJ Tucker is outstanding but come on, that team is no better top to bottom than ours. The difference is Harden and Dame.

The problem is the system and the roster. We play into double teams with basic pick n roll and handoffs and we don't have anyone that can make them pay.

should he get a supermax? I mean that should IMO only go to the very top tier NBA players or it will hamstring your team - should Dame get it?

Terry looks completely bewildered. in post conference.

Draymond the difference maker. his energy and drive.

dame suffered due tot their defense, traps and missed shots.

what's stotts gonna say to the team to ramp em up? we're gonna give it our best on monday n whatever happens happens.

i dunno if its as much about strategy as it is about rallying around and doing our best.

    well shit, Terry...

Dame plays defense. He's been relatively good on defense this season and during these playoffs.

Dame had a terrible game and yeah, there are those who blame him for just about all the Blazer ills. Apparently, he's a big target for fan bile and frustration. He sure needed to play better tonight and value the ball more

but there was all kinds of blame to go around in these last 2 games. Lots of Blazers were making lots of bad plays and bad decisions

I think the Warriors are now Portland's kryptonite. Portland reacts worse to what the Warriors do than they would if any other team did the same things. Golden State is in the heads of the Blazers, and it's not just Dame's head. Coming into this game, in the first two games Dame had a .599 TS%; CJ had a .446 TS%. If Dame is locked down by the defense, and he's certainly been that, then his back court partner needs to play lights out...and CJ's been worse than Dame.

oh, and speaking of being in the Blazer heads, I think the Warriors coaches are in the head of Stotts. He doesn't have any answers. There might not be many to find, but the Blazers are 1-10 against the Warriors in the playoffs and that one win came at the Moda when Curry was out

Yes lmao would you rather be in the lottery constantly hoping someone pans out and MAYBE make the playoffs 5 years down the road in the always crowded west OR would you rather be in the playoffs every year, occasionally advancing?

If this team would play with pace and pass up the court you avoid the double team. But we got two refuse play with pace.

Mainly just want him to not look like a deer in the headlights every-time he’s see’s GS in the playoffs. They are probably not better than GS but he’s gotta be better... Like I said in my long post, its not all on him, but just like a QB in the NFL, you want the money, and the fame and the publicity you’re gonna get it unfairly good and bad.
