LOL...serious? Portland desperately needs more talent and you reject Butler, a guy who is a lot more talented than CJ, in favor of a Kurt Rambis sometimes, reading posts here I swear my browser has been hijacked by Mad Magazine
Just imagine if Aminu can dribble like Draymond and start the break. A lot of open looks for Dame and CJ
The Aminu Harkless duo is not good when facing these traps. We need Curry or Hood out there for one of them. But we also need Dame to pass the ball sooner. We saw this 3 years ago against LAC, GS, last year with Pelicans. Ita crazy we still don't know how to penalize team for trapping. Yes Nurk is missing but Nurk is not playing 48mpg even when healthy, This year we have the deepest bench in a decade, one of the best in the league, and won't have all these guys next year. Just diasapointing we are losing the same way as last year and Dame+coaches are making the same stupid decisions over and over. Next year the nuggets won't be so inexperienced and Paul George will not have to play with a torn rotator cuff. Golden State hasn't been playing that amazing this series. If the clippers were playing them they'd probably be winning 2-1.
Draymond is a game changer....he'd put the Blazers over the top and he's a free agent. Dame played this series beat up...since the 4 OT game he's been visibly a step slower and an inch short on his jumper and layups...no lift. No zip on the pass..He carried this team without Nurk or a lot of help until he ended up just trying to rebound and get role players going. Hopefully he'll have a good next game for the home crowd
I’d love Draymond on the Blazers and he’s on my Top 10 Hate List! Funny how those things change when that player reps your squad. Nurk Dray Hood CJ Dame That’s ^ championship shit. It’s also a giant wet fantasy with zero hope of happening.
What the heck--Green would be amazing on our team. He knows how to deal with a double team on his team's PG like Curry/Dame. Dame throwing the ball to Green to decide what to do next would be elite. Green is annoying but on our team we'd LOVE his passion for the game.
Not even Green... Montrezl Harrell and PJ Tucker were the biggest reason LAC and the Rockets won some games against them.
Nurk. Nurk isnt the same but we run him with a lot of high posts for him to feed cutters like green does. Nurk nurk nurk And a healthy dame/kanter and we beat them.
We are up 2-1 if we eliminate all boneheaded plays. Dame’s are so many he gets his own section 1. Careless passes 2. Overly risky passes 3. Hero drives that easily get stuffed at the rim and result in easy buckets for GSW. Rest of team 1. Fouling shooters 2. Careless passes Dame probably chucked 10 points yesterday with low BBIQ plays. Wake up Dame it’s a TEAM game.
Not sure i agree with that. Golden State has made every big shot they needed to when the game was in the balance. Every time the tide turns and they have a chance Curry nails a three. Or Klay. Stop after stop and single possession after single possession against the Blazers in the fourth quarter. Blazers have been getting absolutely no second chance opportunities in the fourth. The warriors flip a switch and yes they are playing THAT GOOD.
Lets take it further. Nurk would definitely make a difference. But Durant would also. Cousin's i'm not sure about but yes he could make the game go bigger. He would slow it down though. Kanter healthy and eating would help the Blazers. Damian healthy would help the Blazers. Aminu eating would help the Blazers. Nurk would not be eating either so i'm not sure what effect that would have also? Bottom line.... Golden State has 5 All-Star players. Blazers have 1 All-Star player. With both rosters healthy and playing advantage by a long shot goes to Warriors without question. Both Rosters as it sits? Advantage Warriors without question.
Okay. The Blazers are missing their shots. But they are still not getting any second chances. And the Warriors are making their shots. You cannot discredit that they have made the shots they needed to make. Huge stops! Iggy made a huge play at the end of game 2. CJ misses a great look that i would have him take any day of the week. Game three CJ misses 2 free throws in a row and misses a wide open corner three. Curry gets the ball in transition and drills a 34 foot three. What do ya say? That game was over right there. Instead of being up 8 they are tied. Too many 6 point turn around possessions. Happened all three games at crucial times. Warriors never let the opportunity go.
