Maybe he makes more money being hired individually by players.

Highly unlikely. There is no amnesty clause any more.

After next season. Unless he's traded, we're stuck with him for one more year.

He expired long ago. Like, about 3 years ago! Or is it 4?

Yes, but that won't matter until the trade deadline.

Maybe y'all could use the player names instead of "he" as I don't think you all are talking about the same "he".

Yeah, I agree. He was talking about a different player, for sure.

Zach is only going to practice with the young guys in the summer and in Vegas-- but he WILL NOT play in summer league.

    Why not?

    Didn't say specifically.

It's funny though, prior to this season I think they (Olshey) were grooming Zach to be the starter and Nurk to be replaced eventually. Then Nurk improved so much it's like they don't really know what to do with Zach anymore.

glad he has aspirations but he needs to get his skinny azz in the weight room and add 15-20 lbs to play C and learn how to rebound better, he gets pushed around way to much, hope he gets that done

No, Olshey spoke at lengths about playing Nurk and Collins together... meaning Zach to play the 4. Unfortunately, Stotts had different ideas. Just like the season before, it took Olshey having to let Ed Davis go before Stotts would really trust Nurk. It'll have to happen again this off-season when we let Aminu go so that Stotts lets Zach get the majority of the minutes at the 4.
