I wouldn’t be so sure. I think he’s still gone no matter what, I think he sees the writing on the wall... Golden State is getting older (I mean not just age wise but they’ve played a TON of basketball the past half decade...).

Blazers made it to the conference finals hurt and without Nurk and with an injured Kanter. It was the first year with Kanter, Hood, and Curry on the team. They were a top four team in the league. They come back healthy. They get a chance to run with these guys again, the Blazers can get back to the WCF's and further.

Nurk would have killed them. A healthy Kanter too.

Durant is going. He will not play in this series. He won't return to the Warriors.

If we had both healthy, we would have dominated them inside so badly. They wouldn’t be able to trap Dame, which would’ve made his days a lot easier.

you may be right...however I think GS stills has an elite team for a couple more years if he comes back. If he goes to the Knicks or Nets or even lakers/clippers he's got it a whole lot harder to get them over the top and add to his legacy. He stays in GS and they win a couple more with him, his legacy is sealed.
Right now many say he's the best player on the planet and if he stays and wins they will continue to say he's one of the all time best.

If he goes to the Lakers they become the best team in the league over night. Him AND LeBron?

His legacy isn't sealed if he stays with GS. Unless he goes and wins without coattail riding, his legacy will be incomplete. He will always be the guy who took the easy way.

If he stays after they lose and he comes back and they win couple more I think the coattail image wears off some?
Im not saying I agree with him staying or that he even joined their team.

    Honest question for you.
I've just read about 11 of your posts...
Why do you call yourself a Blazer fan?
Everything you post is derogatory towards them.
Now, you're probably gonna go to the ridiculous"I'm a real fan 'cos I point out what needs to get better" bullshit, so be it.
But you're a "bones jones" fan, not a TrailBlazer fan as far as I'm concerned.
"Hope the Raptors don't' Blazer it."
    One of many.

    A comment with zero intelligence.
    Nothing but a unfounded swipe.

It just amazes me. People see those blown leads as an excuse, rather than as part of the problem!

Kanter, Hood, Curry, and possibly Aminu won't be back. Individually, each is replaceable. Collectively, losing them all kills our depth.

If they can be replaced individually then the logic to follow would be to say that collectively the new players replace the depth we lost.

Nah. Bones just doesn’t like Stotts. He’s actually a big fan of the team.

I know he's a fan and I like much of his input, plus I know how he feels about Stotts and thats his prerogative, it just gets a bit tired to hear the constant negativity about the team that brought me a whole lot of enjoyment this year and exceeded most everyones expectations. There were a couple that predicted 50 plus wins and to accomplish that in the west is commendable. Yeah Stotts has areas to improve on, yep the D needs to improve and it will.
