These same people are gonna turn on Nurk next year when he struggles to get back to where he was.

You can lookup the Per 35 for Meyers as well. It looks great, but the most meaningless of stats on basketball reference without having more context to the players' actual situation.

It's abundantly clear his career trajectory is on the path of Penny Hardaway and Grant Hill. He's not the next Paul George. Ainge admitted as much in recent interviews that he acknowledges he may not return to prime form.

    Meyers is 15/10/3.

Its to eliminate the variable of minutes played to look at volume of production. Thats it.

    Nobodys saying hed be PG.

You dont think he'll be better next year...?

Id hope not, I dont honestly expect him to look like “nurk” again until a month or two into the 2021 season.

Wonder if NY strikes out on FA’s or only signs one if they would take Leonard and Harkless along with a first. That would help them with some vets for their young guys and get a pick. Only delay their FA search another year. Sign KD this year, tank and have a couple firsts (own, Dallas, Portland) to take a big swing next year.

Also look at Atlanta to see if they would do Turner and a first for cap space or maybe prince.

I really like Bojan to help space the floor. Might have enough to bring back Hood or Kanter as well.

That’s a lot of money to get rid of, not sure it’s possible.

    Lillard, Simons
    CJ, Trent
    Bojan, Prince, Layman
    Collins, Lab
    Nurk, Kanter

Would need 4/5 depth until Nurk gets back but that’s a strong 8 man rotation with shooters. Seeing how it’s worked out for others there will probably be more vet min contract options this year.

POR Gets: Otto Porter Jr, Cris Felicio
CHI Gets: Evan Turner, Maurice Harkless, Gary Trent Jr. #25

Then trade Two Future 2nds and cash to PHI for 33 to draft Bazley.

That would be nice, not sure how though. We have nothing they would want. I suppose pick 25 etc are just gambles while Hart is a solid role player.

I don't get why NOP would want CJ now, his timeline is far off of the rest of the team, wouldn't be surprised if they trade Jrue, to just be younger and hope that all those picks and Zion are good so in 5 years or so they can be good.
