He bears a really striking resemblance to Kawhi in my mind. Prolly going lottery. Wonder what it would take to climb up.

That's a big no way from me. Collins will be an elite defender once he learns how to stay out of foul trouble. Hachimura is gonna be an average defender at best.

Wow really? Their games are nothing alike in my opinion.

I'm going off of highlight vids. I don't watch college. But the same kinda calculated dribbles, strength, midrange, etc. Who would you compare him to?

I can't see us moving up without trading Collins, and even then it would have to be the right team who wants Zach. Or maybe a team that doesn't like their position would trade the pick for two firsts.

I'm getting Kawhi/Giannis type vibes. He's got good feel, and his frame is ridiculous. It's tough to project someone as a top 5/top10 NBA player but I'm pretty confident Hachimura will be at least an impact guy at some point. His skills will translate to the next level.

if Bol Bol drops like some of the mocks this morning are predicting down to our range, do you take the risk on him?

I said it would be an unpopular opinion. I guess we will see in a few years though.

Character and work ethic are great with both guys, but Hachimura has an NBA body already. Two years in and Collins is still getting pushed around by backup centers. It helps that we can already see an elite skill from Zach at the NBA level: help defense, but aside from that I don't see much upside in his overall game.

I think there are going to be a number of quality players still available where the Blazers pick. I sense Bol might be one of them. There are a number of guys who've dropped from lottery into the 20s or lower. I still can't believe Okeke is being projected as an early second rounder just because of the injury. Thybulle's probably a first-rounder based solely on his potential to be an elite defender. Okeke is a plus defender, a plus shooter AND he can post and rebound. What's not to like about that?

This is a draft where the value is exactly where the Blazers are picking, in the 20-40 range. You can get guys there who, IMO, are every bit as good as 8-20.

I would add that I still would take Bazley over Bol. I think there's a reason Baz is rising and guys like Bol and Langford are dropping. Honestly, the questions about those latter two players are every bit as concerning as any questions about Baz.

Unfortunately, it seems like teams might think the same way I am, and that means Baz really should be slotted somewhere in the teens.

Will the draft be available to watch via NBA TV subscription? We don’t have ESPN in Poland.

The skillset Bol Bol seems to have is absolutely ridiculous. Damn shame it's his body that's the apparently pushing his value down.

This kinda handle and pullup game from a guy his size is too good for me to ignore

He looks like freaking Kevin Durant here. But taller.

ESPN's coverage of the draft is mostly pointless . You wont be missing much. NBA TV should have draft analysis and twitter is prolly the best place to follow anyway.

Blazers will never draft a guy with work ethic concerns. Not Olshey's MO.

Agree with this. But if he can't take the physical challenges and he's not going to be on the floor, he's not going to help you. I see his frame and don't see a lot of opportunity to put on good weight.

Hachimura is Carmelo with better work ethic and defense.
