I heard his stories years ago on Art Bell. He's a hell of a story teller. Very entertaining. None of it is true.

    He's full of shit.
There are people in every country who believe in aliens the same as there are people in every country who believe in black magic. It comes from ignorance and a deep desire to find an answer to some of life's more difficult problems.

I once worked with a little old lady who believed in aliens and flying saucers. She was incredibly ignorant about anything scientific whatsoever. She was a perfect example of the feeble minded wanting desperately to find an answer that would satisfy that hole where some technical base should have existed but by some stroke of bad luck was withheld from them in their youth.

Listen to people who have a demonstrated knowledge on technical subjects such as advanced university degrees and/or prestigious awards for scientific excellence. People who are published and have survived peer review.

What makes you think none of it is true?

Watched him on Joe Rogan the other day and I have to say I tend to believe him for several reasons. I recommend that a lot more than that Netflix show. And that doesn't mean I believe in little green men btw.

No offense meant, but it sounds like you don't know any of the specifics about him or his story..? He's not some feeble minded old lady with no demonstrated knowledge of technical subjects or someone with a deep desire to find an answer to some of life's more difficult problems... It's effectively ruined his life and those around him and he's gained nothing from 30 years of telling his story. Many of the things he originally claimed and which were denied/dismissed have now been proven true.

Anyway, I recommend the podcast, very compelling. Just be sure to skip forward whenever Jeremy Corbell (the maker of that Netflix show) starts to talk. He's a lot less compelling.

What's the 3 things we've been doing since we achieved space flight?

    1. Launch
    2. Orbit
    3. Land

Launch, orbit, land. Launch, orbit, land.

That's it. That's all we do. And for the most part, we're pretty good at it.

Now it's safe to assume that is the same process of any alien species that wants to explore space.

    Launch, orbit, land.

What is hard, what we have yet to figure out is travel at near or at the speed of light. That is a requirement to travel beyond our solar system. We have guesses of what it might take but no real understanding of how to create it or even use it.

The entire UFO theory is based on aliens having the technology and ability to travel to our very lonely part of space but suddenly they fuck up the easiest part of the entire deal, the orbit and land.

    ...

How is it that all alien technology that people have claimed to see is the same technology that was shown in movies, serials, and books like Buck Rodgers? We can't even predict what tech is going to be in use 10-20 years from now but some how scifi writers in the 1920s, 30s, and 40s, correctly predicted the technology that aliens would be using?

    ...

    Power

The more the advance in technology the more power is required to use it. If any of that were true, there would be either a nuclear power plant at Area 51 or more power lines into the place then anywhere else on the planet. And yes, I know there are claims that all of this magical alien equipment is self powered but we would still need power to understand it, monitor it, and try to recreate it. The power lines into Area 51 are large but standard for a base that is testing top secret aircraft.

the one thing we humanoids always leave out of the equation is that we may not have the ability to perceive alien life with our tools or senses...could be so tiny that it's beyond our measuring ability or any number of things....my guess is that if it exists...it's been here all along...like this guy who is unlike any other lifeform on the planet..we assume since it's been here since we have lived...it's an earthling

Good points. I remain open minded about the Alien question, though retain some skepticism. My wife watches all of the shows, Ancient Aliens etc and is watching the new Bob Lazar feature.

I find it highly probable that there is other intelligent life in this universe. The Laws of science hold this possibility to be highley likely. It is indeed harder to imagine a race or several races of Aliens with the technology to travel not only large but seemingly impossible distances across the vastness of space to Earth.

It does seem incredulous that after coming millions of light years, that Aliens would fuck up on the landing and crash. With their technology and skill how could they blunder the elementary. Perhaps, like us they are fallible. Their ships like ours can fail...they are after all machines.

What of their technology. If we have crashed saucers at area 51 or other secret bases why haven't we been able to reverse engineer them yet? Maybe we have. Or maybe your right. Or Maybe they crashed on purpose.

I watched something pretty recently also regarding Bob Lazar as well. How these Alien Space Craft are powered by gravity drives that bend space time to allow them to travel from one point to another near instantaneously. These engines are run by a newer element scientists are still trying to stabilize...element 115...Moscovium. It all seems to easy. It is not all completely understood yet. A lot of it is still theory and conjecture.

It is fun to think about. It is a possible answer even if not a likely one. I do believe area 51 is a base for building/testing top secret aircraft and technology. Whether any of it is Alien remains to be seen.

I have to ask though, what has Bob Lazar gained if he is lying. Nothing. His life is in ruins. There was another guy who claimed he worked for the government and began to unveil secrets about Aliens and ended up dying suspiciously. It is good to keep an open mind.

Or they could be from other dimensions rather than from across space. Or from the future.

I completely believe there is intelligent life out there. And we have and are being observed. But there is absolutely no value or knowledge to be gained in landing here. The value and knowledge is in observation. To see if we are one of the few intelligent beings that actually evolve past the ability to destroy our own existence.

    ...

Like I first said, I've heard Bob Lazar for over 20 years. Back when Art Bell first started his radio show. He's made a career out of his Area 51 story. Books, paid appearances at UFO conventions.

Is being rich his goal? He's quasi-famous. He's a big figure in the circles he chooses to travel in. He has his own show on Netflix. People are talking about him.

But you're operating under the assumption that if he didn't ever tell his Area 51 stories he would be rich. There is no such evidence of that.

Huh? Not what I am saying. I don't think he would be rich if he never told his stories. I was saying money would seem the best motive for lying.
