I was just curious the extent of his ankle injury. Nothing serious, I hope.

    According to OLive, nothing serious:

"Simons drove into the lane toward the hoop but suffered a grade 1 right ankle on the potential game-tying shot."
    "X-rays came back negative."

It was classified as a grade 1 sprain which is a mild sprain. I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't held out to let it fully heal.

he should be able to put some weight on it without a problem seeing as he weighs about 109 lbs it seems...

I love Simons upside, and definitely see him in a bigger role this year, but not as a PG. He seems more of a SG to me.

I think POR Brass knows he is the SG of the future as well. They are playing him at PG to get him time as he wouldn't get it otherwise. I agree that it would best if someone who actually was a PG played there.

And that includes the 20 lbs of muscle he’s gained since the post season!

    But you're wrong.

You're incorrect in your assertion that Simon's elbow is out.

    That is factually incorrect.

No, you're wrong. Don't get mad when you're proven wrong. Nothing you've said about his shooting form is correct.

You're looking at the wrong arm.

His elbow is in its natural position.

Two of the best long range shooters in the league basically start their shot motion from the hip.

I've read somewhere that this basically means they get most of the strength behind their shots from their legs. This strength gives them longer ranger than other players, far past the NBA three-point line. It also helps their shot stay consistent even when they're tired since not a lot of energy is generated from the arms.

Those two shooters? Dame and Steph.

And you very rarely ever see either one of them getting their shot blocked unless they are right at the rim
