I’d rather he just didn’t go there and I wouldn’t have to hope players get injured to have hope.

They are beatable when fit. I’d like our chances when fully healthy against them. I’m sure teams like Houston, Utah, and Golden State all feel the same too.

I won't be surprised if NO did - I expect he did, and that very well could be why we so quickly moved on Hood - NO felt this combo was better than the reverse. That being said, I'd love to know what was behind Door #2.

Do you have a particular wing or wings in mind? I am curious about door #2 as well.

And Whiteside basically cost about 4.7 mil I think given the 2019 salary differentials, so a bit less than Kanter

Hard to say. I'll have to do some digging. I mean, it is clear these days that expiring deals can sometimes net your a pretty solid player.

I don’t like our chance of coming within 10 points off of them in a single playoffs game against them. That would be like the worst possible matchup I can think of. They would find it even easier than Warriors in the last 12 playoffs games against us.

Colin Cowherd's Top-10 teams as of now:

    10:Rockets
    9: Blazers
    8: Philly
    7: Jazz
    6:Nuggets
    5:Clippers (if they sign Kawhi)
    4:Warriors
    3:Bucks
    2:Raptors (if they sign Kawhi)
1: Lakers (if they sign Kawhi)

Might have mixed a couple of those up but that is basically what he had. Of course he has Portland at #9....SMH.

Maybe he'll own up to that mistake by the end of the 2019-20 season. :devilwink:

I was listening and right when Barkley mentioned Whiteside I went into a tunnel and missed the whole thing.

Sorry but clearly we had Hood and we needed to make a decision. I love Enes but I’d rather have Hood/Whiteside over Kanter/Meyers/Harkless.

To me, the Blazers have a big talent problem at SF. That's one of the most important positions in today's NBA. Who's the star player between 6'6" to 6'10"? We don't have one.

Who gives a guy only six minutes to make a decision like that? Surely we could spare 10?

So someone helped him make his decision. He's not Kawhi Leonard. The league isn't going to stop dealing while he makes his mind up.

They don't have a star....but they at least have guys who can hit shots at those positions which is an improvement on last year.

I don't think that is the case. Rodney Hood is streaky. Kent Bazemore was a horrible scorer 2 of the last 3 seasons, and just OK in the other in between. Nassir Little is a rookie. Jake Layman? Am I missing someone?
