I looked at WCS numbers and I was wrong... I always thought he was some stud shot blocker but he’s basically a bigger Amir Johnson

Or much more likely to cause a problem.

I like the idea of having Cousins or Whiteside while Nurk is out, a lot actually. However, having both of them is just asking for trouble.

For as much as Kawhi has painted this, “Im shy, don't look at me persona”, he was part of a bunch of Drama in SAS which is a notoriously drama free place, and now this summer is dragging his FA out longer than everyone else did. If he ends up a Laker that would really seem counter to the narrative thats always surrounded him.

Anyone else have issues knowing what to make of Kawhi?

    Not yet.

If he's stringing the Lakers on knowing this whole time he's going back to Toronto it would easily be the best non Blazer moment in the history of the NBA.

What happens if he’s strung the whole league along knowing he’s going to the Lakers though?

Then I'll be pissed but at least he's kind of screwed the Lakers by doing that.

Unfortunately I think he’s going to the Lakers.

Yeah, me too which is a complete bummer. Go from finally getting GS knocked down a peg to another team that seems they can sleep walk to 58-65 wins and win a ring...

What’s our PF rotation right now?

    Zach
    Tolliver
    Super Mario?

Don’t like. We need another banger, someone who can get boards.

This has the chance to be the most wide-open, exciting season in years with 7-8 teams with a legit shot of making their conference Finals.....or sink back to the inevitable predictability that has existed for the last number of years with the Warriors and whomever LeBron was playing with. If Kawhi goes to the Lakers, it will be all LA, all the time, a FT parade on most nights, and everyone else will be fighting for 2nd place hoping that injuries hit the Lakers like they eventually did with the Warriors.

If Kawhi goes to the Lakers I think I will honestly wish injuries on this team......

I'm not sure; somewhere else I also read it was more than the minimum. "Bell's deal was a minimum contract while Vonleh's is not, meaning it could eat into one of the two salary-cap exceptions the Wolves have (their midlevel and biannual exceptions)."

    Woj:

Memphis has agreed to trade Chandler Parsons to Atlanta for Solomon Hill and Miles Plumlee, league sources tell ESPN.
