I keep waiting for the breaking news that this MF keeled over from a hamberder heart attack.. His blood must be Ragu...
Whenever Trump is slimed, I then think to myself and ask the question.....OK, who are the "overall" better alternatives at this point in time? Thus far, I'm drawing blanks.
Really, out of a country of 350 million people, you can't think of a single person who would be a better President? barfo
Isn't that a bit circular though? Nobody on the Republican side besides Trump has a legitimate chance because you've somehow decided that Trump is the best you can do. barfo
Not circular at all. I'm 96.7% certain no other Republican will be getting into this race. I've always liked Kasich, though. Nah, what I'm saying is, I believe the Dems will somehow splinter themselves between left and "lefter". Quasi-Socialism still has its draw. Gonna be fun to watch.
Seaports most likely because forts wouldn't really make sense either, but then again I suppose that is just as likely given the speaker
Right -- they won't because Republicans are satisfied with Trump. Which is what I was saying about it being circular. Well, there are multiple ways to 'splinter'. A bitter primary fight? Sure, could and probably will happen. Usually does. Someone who loses the primary and decides to run as a third party candidate? I think that's unlikely, but possible. Bernie could do it, Yang could do it, they aren't party regulars. I don't see a lot of others. Williamson, I suppose, but who would care? barfo
Not realistically. Not a soul comes to mind. He’s by far the most competent and most effective at fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of the office since Ike. With Trump leading America we have turned the tide on nearly 6 decades of civil oppression and political corruption at home and theft and backstabbing from false allies abroad.
Fake post. There’s nothing circular about voting for the incumbent who has already proven to be a phenomenal leader, established major civil rights advances, lifted record numbers of minorities out of poverty, crushed ISIS, cut taxes for the middle class and eliminated them altogether for the poor. And he did it with both parties of Congress opposing him all the way. He’s world record level, and he’s got no credible opposition from either party. It’s simply the only rational choice.
OK, I see that. IMO, Trump was nominated because he was the clearest D.C. "outsider". He displayed a lot of ("Drain the swamp!", etc.) rhetoric that the "we're sick-and-tired-of -the way-things-are" Republican masses bought in to. That said, I do believe he loves this country and, in his own way, is keeping consistent with conservative principles.
Howard Shultz is waiting in the weeds to jump in the race, but he first wants to see Joe crash and burn, which it appears could happen. Its way to freaking early to jump in anyway as an Independent. Schultz strategy to appeal to the centrist/moderates could make him a factor. He also has some business smarts and could keep the economy humming, which I don't hear anyone talking about now.
I think it's high time to start thinking about what monuments to erect to Trump. Space Force should be named Trump Force, of course. Change the Internet to the Trumpnet? Should we make him the 5th president on Mt Rushmore? Or is that insulting? Maybe remove the other 4? Or maybe just rename the country - The Trump States of America, or the United States of Trump? What do you think, Maris? barfo
I think Schultz already crashed and burned himself. Turns out he doesn't have appeal. He can be a spoiler, and he may decide to be. But he won't beat the Libertarian or Green party candidates, I predict. barfo
