That’s a whole lot to give for Westbrook, Orlando gets better right away but long term get worse imho.

I wouldn’t count the Knicks out as a team that could get Westbrook. They have pieces.

Jesus Christ are these people geographically impaired? The West Coast is the Left Coast for Pete's sake ;)

They can do something like Barrett, DSJ, Trier, Portis, and a pick. It would have to wait because of Portis but eventually.

The best place for Russ is MIA. A 1-3 of Russ/Herro/Butler might be nice. (It could also completely explode which is why I want it to happen)

I don’t see them trading RJ. I love the idea of RW a Knick though, I hate the team and the player.

Not enough salary to trade out.

They're gonna wait until December 15th?

The Knicks still have like 4 million in cap space I think.

Why not? No real rush. Even if the Knicks get Westbrook in December they still make the playoffs in the east.

    LAL v. LAC Superstars

    NYK v. BRK Superstars

    The 'league' would love this.

Actually he said not to expect fireworks in free agency but that most of their moves would have to be trades. That is pretty accurate.

If the Thunder are gonna trade Russ I'd imagine they'd need to trade him this summer. I bet he's pissed they were willing to trade him to Toronto.

Chicago is still an excellent destination for Westbrook as they have solid young pieces to move.

I wonder if OKC would do Lowry, Gasol, and Siakam for Westbrook and Adams?

    Picks thrown in too.

Why would Toronto? They are married to Siakam and you will need a prettier girl for them to move him then Westbrook

Westbrook is an MVP, Siakam is an elite role player currently with the potential to go further. Westbrook also attracts stars better.

Siakam is an all star level player going forward on a rookie contract, Westbrook is an all star level player going forward on a superstar salary.

Westbrook is better at making stars leave his team than join him...

No way Toronto does that. They wouldn't give up Siakam for George and Westbrook so they certainly wouldn't for those two.
