I got my US Citizenship this year and this is the first time I've ever felt proud of a US Team.

President Macron, representing host country, was there. King of Netherlands, supporting his home team, was there. I find myself glad there was no US government representative. And I'd bet my retirement the occupant of the White House did NOT watch the game.

In a perfect world, Seattle Storm win another WNBA championship, Megan & Sue retire, get married and live happily ever after. Maybe get a cat.
I hereby volunteer to make their wedding cake.

It's a good thing they can't reproduce because their offspring would be a new race of super-beings who would enslave us all.

Their offspring would be great athletes, outspoken leaders and fun. And they can repreduce, both women are aging by athlete standards but still pre- monopause.

Congrats!! Clearly much better team than anyone else.

Gotta say though, don't particulary like Megan and Morgan. Morgan likes to dive and Megan seems to try to hard to be liked. Not because of Trump quotes, later she quoted Nipsey Hussle and said women should be pay equal LOL

Anyway, you play against Mexico soon, so good luck in that too!

I'm shocked those commies didn't throw the flag on the ground after they won.

I meant with each other. Probably that too, but it would require some science.

For now they'll settle for being on the cover of that ESPN Body edition.

Congrats on your citizenship. I remember the proud feeling I had when my wife got her citizenship. This meant that she could wear an endless number of disguises and vote a lot of times for the Democrat. Tee, hee, it always worked.

Very proud of these women. They are amazing role models for my daughter. I've shared before that my daughter is a member of the US Soccer Association Regional Team for her age. Keep your eye out for her in 2027

They don't make ton of money for football aka FIFA like men do. Just like WNBA and NBA.

Honestly, the reason they don't get paid as much is no one really gives a shit about women's soccer versus the men's.

Even the Men's US team (who suck ass) gets huge public watch parties if they do make the World Cup. The women's team gets...people at a bar in their 'Murrica costumes.

Well, this isn't true. The Portland Thorns draw huge crowds, they average 18,000, while the very popular men's Timbers team averages 21,000. According to your supposed beliefs, the women ought to be earning 6/7 as much as the mean and they are earning much less than that.
