If you haven’t seen it yet, this interview with Meyers from last month, before he was traded, is worth watching for some of the behind the scenes information on the playoff run.

Surprised the thread title isn't: "Meyers Leonard: Oh The Humanity"

But that would be so last six years.

"They game plan to take away Damian Lillard" It will continue. The question now is; what is the plan to take advantage of this fact? It should be a welcomed opportunity.

The game plan is to blame everyone else except Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum and Terry Stotts.
Now that the Blazers got rid of all the losers that were causing all the double team issues, (Aminu and Harkless especially) there should never be problems for Lillard anymore.

Now he might be a solid role player in a good Eastern Conference team with Westbrook (potentially) and Butler.

Or he might be a starter in OKC after they trade away Westbrook and Adams.

Make no mistake. The negative nannies will find a whipping post. At least one. Other than of course Stotts who will catch their ire after every loss. And boy oh boy they better not miss the Finals this year or the Blazers will need to rebuild for sure! Just cannot be happy with making the playoffs and only getting to the second round after making the WCF! Oh and if for some reason they don't win 50 games this year????

It's kind of funny when someone who thought the Blazers would regress last season makes a post like this.

Very possible they regress this year. I don't like putting unrealistic expectations on them. I'm going with 48 wins this year though. Figure that is about right?

Guess we could settle for that if things don't go as planned.

I'd go for 48 and then 16 after that for that matter.

Good luck ML. I hope he does not become outrageous and over tattoo himself like the Bird Anderson. South Florida populates strange characters who walk the earth/swamp.

The real irony is that we might actually sign him in the offseason.

no way. Blazer repeats are reserved for Steve Blake. I know Steve Blake; Meyers Leonard is no Steve Blake

    * Steve Blake doesn't read books. He stares them down until he gets the information he wants

    * When Steve Blake goes to donate blood, he declines the syringe, and instead requests a hand gun and a bucket

    * Steve Blake can hit you so hard that he can actually alter your DNA. Decades from now your descendants will occasionally clutch their heads and yell "What The Hell was That?"

    * Steve Blake has two speeds: Walk and Kill

    * Steve Blake can divide by zero
