The surprise of baseball is the emergence of the Minnesota Twinkies. Yankee pitching needs to toe the line. Biggie will need to be on top of his game to come out a winner against this team.
With the exception of a surging Cleveland Team the AL Central is the trash bin receptacle of the American League. The Twins have not yet taken a series from Boston, Houston, or the Yankees. I failed to check Tampa. On the other hand the Yankees record against the Central is 12/11 with 10 games remaining. This season thus far has shown the Yankees to play down against other than Eastern Division Team. The Yankees need to step it up against the West & Central. As our old buddy Graig Nettles once wrote on any give day one major league team can beat another. Of equal importance of the pending Twins/Red Sox Series is that we are now 9 days from the Trade Deadline. When we hear the word deadline thought of Cash Crap come right to mind. Wonder if old Cash is out dumpster diving behind the local Smokey Joes Café looking for help. Or will he come up with Harvey, J Zimmerman, or King Felix and bs that he's gotten the Yankees a "playoff experienced" man. Shit only the shadow knows. Biggie must toss a gem this evening.
Although it was disappointing we lost to the Rockies, the team will savor a matchup with a division leading American League opponent although that division is not the strongest one.

Yankees announce Holder will make his return to the Yankees tonight vs. Minnesota. Tarpley was optioned back to Scranton. Typical Trashman move.
Note that Brett Gardner again will be out of the Yankee lineup for a second consecutive day. Sore left knee.
Sure nt glad to see Holder back, the man has been a gas tank this year. Tarpley last year seemed to have some ability but did not impress early this season. I still believe there is some hope for him (Tarpley)
Tarpley for Holder, one piece of human waste for another. Trashman had the Trade Dumpster moved from the parking lot into his office. I don't think we have to ponder Ace's like Mad-Bum and certainly not Mad-Max as our SP addition. This is the time of year when the Trashman brings in guys like he has in the past i.e. Lance Lynn and Sonny Gray... so, think who's the hands on trade deadline slam dunks, and we will see quit the Opposite...
CC needs to wake up fast, realize he's in the last year of his career, and pitch like the HOF'r he's gonna be, and get off his fat ass and pitch like his bald hair is on fire... Will he go out like a sure shot HOF'r, or like his buddy Bartolo Colon...
Good, I'm getting tired of seeing the cutoff man run 20 feet from Gardner to make the throw Home. One good and only one good thing about Taco Tauchman so far, he's gotta arm....
Pink Hatters up on Tampa 7-0. Over the next couple weeks Boston plays 13 games against Tampa & the Yankees.
Here's an odd Stat: The Yankees have won 13 of their last 14 night games, when followed by a day game the prior day... Yanx won 16 of their last 20 games At Home. Yanx last 20 games resulted in a 10/10 record.
Things are gonna get real interesting. Yanx got to set the Bosox even further back with the 2 each 4 Game Bosox series in both Bahstahn and the Bronx. Thank God the Yanx also play the Orioles 7 times b4 their West Coast Swing. Yanx playing 3 in Chavez Ravine should be very interesting, very foretelling of how well the Yanx can hang with the NL Champions. Then we've got 4 more in Boston in September, again...
