The same Whiteside who makes his team's defense worse statistically? Yeah, that's just what we need right now.
These rumors would be a lot more interesting if the people making these trades up had a freaking clue about how the CBA works. Since both teams are over the cap, with CJ's PPP, it would take involving a team with a ton of cap space (hello Philadelphia?) to make this exchange workable at all.
This idea makes me gnash my teeth a little. CJ is a 20 ppg guard who can get his own shot, a good shot, just about whenever he wants. Whiteside feels like a gamble. I absolutely love his size and athleticism. On paper he seems like exactly what we need. I'm just not sold that he's there mentally. Seems like the typical only in it for himself kind of player.
Not happening. We can get Noel for much much much less and serve close to the same purpose. But if GSW adds him even with giving up Thompson, I will be pissed....
CJ for Paul George sounds so much better or CJ for Brendan Haywood or CJ for Klay Thompson ...giving up CJ for another big isn't solving our problem
So to play devils advocate, you wouldn't trade CJ for AD? Depends on the Center. And it depends on who fills CJ's shoes.
Didn't Whiteside score over 30 on us recently? Explain to me why that would be a bad trade. Mind you, I don't follow his career, so be nice.
Another thread quoting this bullshit news source? This message board man... @KingSpeed you're too smart to think this article has any sort of legitimacy.
Are we so bored that we are looking through peoples posts from three years ago to rub their noses in it? Blazer fans should be better than that.
This thread is from Dec 2016...….and it is as legitimate as any trade machine crap that's been hashed over and over and over...…..in 2016 many people would have traded CJ for a center
