First reports: White man in fatigues. AR -15 3 dead 12 injured Came up on the stage during live music and opened up into the crowd.
Have you ever gone? Ive been meaning too for like 15 years I guess minus a couple I was in Canada lol.
Sounds absolutely delicious. My wife eats a ton of garlic in her Korean food. I love garlic in my pickled string beans.
Security.(?) They stop people from smoking but cannot stop real terror. It stuns me how these fuckin maniacs exist. Why can't they shoot themselves instead? Is it a glory trip or human madness has unfolded upon the innocent people on this earth.
Current reports are saying he waded through a creek and used bolt cutters to cut the fence. He was shot by police within a few minutes of opening fire.
Sure. I read that too. Dressed in full tactical gear. Yet made his way from the fence all the way onto stage??? Dressed and armed? Sorry. I might have given my life, but if I saw that and saw him heading for the stage, I don't think I could stop myself from walking up behind him and taking him out with the assumption he meant harm. Not wait until he got on stage. Ida smashed a garlic bottle over his head. At a food festival it should be pretty obvious a guy walking into the place in tactical gear is there for one thing. and needs to be put down asap.
I am a big believer in gun ownership, but the next time someone can give me a rational reason to own an assault rifle, will be the first time.
I have been to both of these festivals in the past. If I remember correctly the North Plain one is really an Elephant Garlic festival - which is really a type of an onion, not garlic - but it is nice enough (much smaller in size than the Gilroy one). It's really sad that we continue with these tragedies because of political posturing. I honestly believe that better controls over arms and licensing can continue to protect the 2nd amendment while offering better measures of preventing these kinds of things.
Like I said. I wouldnt have needed a gun to attempt to take him down. It would have been plainly obvious to me that it was going to quickly turn into a him or me situation the moment I had spotted him.
