For Lanny, who whines about reading lengthy articles, this is worth 1,000 words. If China Joe wins the primary I am putting this pic on a bumper sticker and a T-shirt.
Huh? You're falling for all the fake news, much of it from Russian government fake news factories that Mueller proved. Mueller, you know, the guy that Trump denigrated and then hailed as being a very good investigator that now declares his bad news as indicating that he's a bad investigator.
Debates are almost here again! Some thoughts... July 30 3 Marianne Williamson - should be good for another chuckle before her spirit animal relocates to New Zealand 3 John Delaney - spending lots of his own money to stand on stage. points for being committed, I guess. 3 John Hickenlooper - your own staff thinks you should quit. Go home and run for Senate, John. 3 Tim Ryan - heard that the democrats wanted trump voters, thought they meant to run for president 3 Steve Bullock - Steve's first shot, and probably his last. How will he use his 6 minutes of fame? 2 Amy Klobuchar - one of many second tier candidates, nice, well meaning, not catching on so far. 2 Beto O'Rourke - Male Amy Klobuchar at this point. Lost all his mojo, needs to get it back. 1 Pete Buttigieg - My guy. Great fundraising quarter, but a distant 5th in the polling. Must find a way to appeal to non-white people. 1 Elizabeth Warren - Doing very well. She could put the nails in Bernie's coffin in this debate, and she doesn't have to attack him to do so. 1 Bernie Sanders - Bernie still has a lot of support, but less than he had a couple of months ago. Not going the right direction. July 31 3 Jay Inslee - Climate change is important, but this election isn't going to be primarily about that 3 Kirsten Gillibrand - be happy you have a Senate seat, Senator. There's no one who wants you to be President 3 Tulsi Gabbard - Had a decent debate last time, needs a stronger one this time 3 Michael Bennet - go home and run for Senate against John. May the best ex-presidential candidate win. 3 Bill de Blasio - Is he too big to fail? 2 Cory Booker - Black male version of Amy 3 Andrew Yang - If the microphone doesn't work this time, better start yelling. It's last chance time... 2 Julián Castro - Hispanic male version of Amy 1 Kamala Harris - Is she going to go after Biden again? Doesn't seem like that would be smart. Americans don't like elder abuse. 1 Joe Biden - If he smiles and lets the attacks roll off his shoulders, he'll be fine. But who knows what bad advice he's taking lately. This will be our last chance to see most, if not all, of the Tier 3 candidates, so I'm expecting them to let it all hang out. The debate in September should fit on one stage. Edit: Tier 4: Seth Moulton, Tom Steyer, Wayne Messum, etc.: Not even taking up space. Tier 5: Eric Swalwell: Congrats to Swalwell on acknowledging reality and dropping out barfo
Can you reword that using words other than 'whines' which reminds me too much of you? Come on, I'll bet you have a polite way of putting things.
Midsummer night's update: Hickenlooper and Inslee fall to Tier 5 (the dearly departed). Delaney, Williamson, Gillibrand, Ryan, Bullock, Bennet, de Blasio move down to Tier 4 (hospice care). Steyer moves up to Tier 3 (thoughts and prayers). Tiers 1 (healthy as a donkey) and Tier 2 (feeling a mite peckish) remain the same. barfo
Like magic. Those billionaires really have a knack for making the debate stage while being completely unheard of.
Money does talk. I'm not sure what sort of voter has been 'voting' for him in the polls, but I gather that he's been advertising heavily to gain name recognition. barfo
I've got a spare room when you retire but you'll have to chop wood, carry water from the well, do dishes and the like. Interested? 438-688-8243 ext 73 (Get Outta Here).
Warren is rising. Meanwhile, Biden ("I want to be clear, I'm not going nuts.." is declining. The Dem race is gonna be a blast to watch!
OK, but it's still very interesting.... https://thehill.com/homenews/campai...lling-badly-three-way-tie-for-democratic-lead https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/26/politics/monmouth-august-democrats-biden-warren-sanders/index.html
My error, there is a Monmouth poll that shows him slipping. I heard about it on Monday evening's news. Sanders and Warren werr at 20% and Biden at 19%. Of course this is just the Monmouth poll.
