https://heatnation.com/videos/tyler-herro-potential-shot-hassan-whiteside-tweet/ Tyler Herro Takes Blatant Shot at Hassan Whiteside via Social Media Miami Heat rookie Tyler Herro appeared to have taken a shot at Hassan Whiteside on Twitter after he posted a video of his recent training. In the caption, Herro used Whiteside’s now-famous “we got shooters” quote after his trade to the Portland Trail Blazers.........
He shot 73% in 19 games as a Knick. He did improve to 68% last year (bulk of his minutes being in Dallas).
When Nurk gets back I could see Hassan playing some 4 depending on match up. He's wiry enough and has decent footwork down low. Plus he has height.
Nurk is more nimble than Whiteside. And neither can or should play the 4. I have doubts about Collins playing there, much less these two dudes.
I think Skal and Zach are both quick enough to play the 4 but Tolliver and Hezonja will probably log minutes there as well as Pau.
The lines have become a little blurred between small and power forwards these days but I could see Hezonja being utilized as a ball handling four. Dallas did something similar with Doncic last season and even Portland experimented with Turner. I could even see Gasol get some minutes at the four, depending on the opponent. Not every team uses their power forwards in the pick and roll, so you could “hide” Gasol defensively while creating mismatches on the other end. But the sleeper is still Skal. I wouldn’t be surprised if he pushed Collins.
A Skal that plays well enough to push to take minutes from our "franchise-level building block" could be the x-factor toward contention. #FREESKAL
Hahha I just like Collins more at center. But I guess it largely depends on his offensive growth. I know he can guard most fours, even the undersized ones, so I’m not worried about that. I do prefer him near the rim though. If he can get more consistent with his shot/post game, he’ll be fine. But that’s still a question he has to answer.
Yup.... for someone who supposedly took it all very hard back in 2016, he loves putting himself out there. He streams on twitch constantly.
Honestly, the best advice he could ever get would be to shut down his social media presence, and accept he doesn't have a "brand".
