    My not-so-secret crush Rachel Maddow is hosting Andrew Yang for the Interview tonight. The Interview generally runs for a big portion of the show.

    I am firmly in Warren camp but some folks here might be interested and might not be regular Maddow watchers. MSNBC 6 or 9 PM PST.

    A 10% VAT tax should pay for universal healthcare, not giving every American $1,000 a month.

    People would have a conniption fit about that. "Just another tax!"

    I'd rather pay more in sales tax than I do in income tax and property tax, because at least I get to chose what it is I'm paying taxes on (i.e., I could buy less or more, etc)

    I would too, because I'm cheap as fuck.

    However, I think Universal Healthcare is much better goal than having an extra $1,000 per month in spending money.

    It seems like a bad deal for those on public assistance as well.
