It's pretty much a documented fact that any Portlander (and/or ardent follower/fan of the Blazers) has a built-in hate gene as it relates to ANYTHING LA Lakers. Actually, we were all born with it. I'm thinking this goes back to the 4-0 sweep of KA-J & Co. in the 1977 WCF.

I need a "basis" for giving an opinion on this topic? Jesus, look at the history of LA over the past decade or two, and then tell me why I shouldn't assume this. Because that is EXACTLY the type of team that they have been: a bunch of popular douchebags with no loyalty and shitty attitudes; who only want to hang out in LA for the money and the celebrity.
