This is not a good look for the NBA. Not at all. This is basically defending Nazi Germany.

The NBA looking like bootlickers here. Rockets gear apparently removed from their online store for China?

NBA doesn't want to lose their ever growing Chinese revenue stream and it appears as though they will do anything to keep it.

Did we really need more proof the people running the NBA are money grubbing sociopaths? We already knew they were pretty much scum, but did they have to rub our noses in it?

The hypocrisy v. the NC issue is what bother me the most. Either you stand up for values or you don't. Or you stand up only for those that help increase your top line and throw everyone else under the bus.

Not really. It was about the NBA, Morey and China. Not our President. It just doesn't always have to go there

Morey is a fucking idiot for doing this and should be fired.

Hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue will be lost if they don't correct this.

He is a de facto ambassador for the league. A league trying to bring the game "worldwide". China is one of the largest growth markets, and basically he advocated violence against the Chinese Government. China isn't some pussy ass American politicians who will bow down to Antifa, they don't give a fuck, they'll shut down the NBA in their country all together without a second thought.

I don't think that's going to get the job done. They should have thrown Taiwan under the big red bus too.
