There will be an NBA team in China soon or at least an announcement one is on the way. Thats what they want and they will get on their terms. The NBA actually has planned on a franchise there, this will speed it up. Lets not be naive, most every American Corporation wants a presence in China and not just for low wages, but for a huge huge market and also a launching pad for the rest of the Asian markets, as their income per capita increase which it has. None of these companies give a crap if they are repressive/socialist communist, its about MONEY and MARKET share.
Im big fans of both of them but they disappoint me as they are usually vocal about all decent things.
Dude we've met you, the closest thing you could come to assault at the Blazer game is asking someone to put more of it on your pretzel.
I'm usually pretty chill, but I have a low tolerance for bullshit. And people yelling political chants while I'm trying to watch my Blazers play basketball is some fucking bullshit.
Well it seems more American corporations are in favor of helping the Chinese stifle Hong Kong. Seems very weird to me, how libs talk much about human rights, even insist Trump include such in trade talks with China. But then, the NBA, Apple, Google, big liberal American corporations all back China! Or is this pocket book liberalizm? https://www.wsj.com/articles/apple-...acking-map-app-after-china-uproar-11570681464 https://www.nytimes.com/2019/10/09/technology/apple-hong-kong-app.html
Why would that be political? Is it bought with tax payer money while he's President, or is he purchasing the team with his own private wealth? Is it renamed "Republicans Patriots" (or any other politicized name)? Is it being used as a political tool? Is Trump holding political rallies during games? What if Trump just wants a football team unrelated to politics? I'll tell you what I don't appreciate: ANY politician, whether it's Trump or anyone else, sending out Tweets that take stabs at sports-related issues, such as his spat with Kaepernick. I'm no fan of Kaepernick or his bullshit ignorance and hypocrisy, but I also wasn't a fan of Trump getting involved in that at all.
