At a cost of giving up 3 yrs of Covington on a great contract? Deing is overpaid, but his contract isn't that bad...
It's super long but @BonesJones and I did a video on trading for every single player mentioned in this thread (except Baynes, lol).
Iggy and Crowder would be good. Crowder would fill that Aminu role from last year and gives us two wings to help our perimeter defense, plus both are expiring.
Two words: JAKE LAYMAN!!! But seriously: they probably wouldn't, unless they were REALLY keen to shed $$ and they thought that their approximately TEN wings (seriously, count their players listed SF/SG) were too many.
Announcer on Nuggets broadcast tonight said a “rumored” trade that was possibly being discussed was Whiteside + Collins + Trent Jr for Blake Griffin. Take Collins out of that trade and I do it in a heartbeat.
We'd be too thin up front until Nurk comes back so there would have to be another move for a center too.
Only hesitation I would have is if Whiteside and Collins are going out, then who’s your center? Also no guarantee Nurkic will be back healthy this season or to what level he will be able to perform, so need a center coming back in that deal as constructed. I would give up Collins if Neil had a separate deal in place for an established center.

I would do this. We would lack a real center for most of the season, but long term, we are probably better, especially if Nurk is the same player he was.
Value wise, I think that's fair. I can't believe I'm even mentioning his name, but isn't Noah still on the market? He might be an adequate stopgap until Nurk comes back
NOT A RUMOR! If you read Bleacher Report, it's just a suggested trade with NO indication at all that there is anything to it happening.
