    Barton starts at small forward? If I was Stotts I’d go to Hood early and often.

    Portland is seemingly on national tv quite a bit on opening night. There are only so many teams on the west coast, so it probably is geographic. Someone has to fill that 7/7:30 slot.

    That is exactly why Hood is my pick this game. Make them adjust. Keep going there until they make the Nuggets take Barton off the court.

    of course, they are already a half game behind the Clippers. Falling a full game behind this late in the season might be too deep a hole

    Did they finally update the heights? Lillard is now listed at 6-2. Bazemore is 6-4. All the other players seemed to have stayed the same height.

    If the weight/height numbers are correct, Hood is the same size as Aminu/Harkless roughly.

    I wouldn't say it's a "must win" game, but this game will tell us a lot about what our team chemistry is like, and how much of a process its going to be. If we win soundly, then we'll know it probably won't be much of an issue this season. If we lose by 20, then it's going to be a loooong season.

    Realistically, I can see Denver winning this one. I'm not yet sold on Whiteside or our bench, and Zach can't stop Millsap.

    This is going to come down to Dame, and how much he shuts down Murray.

    I agree except that Collins actually can shut down Millsap, his defense against millsap won us game 6 & 7
