    Every time Zach gets a BS foul all I imagine is the ref saying “You can’t be an American white jumping around and blocking people like that, Zach! Take your privileged ass to the bench!”

    I was thinking of making a pro's and con's list for the 1st half.

    Basically it amounted to this.

    Pro for Portland:
    They're only down 4 and Damian really hasn't been much really.

    Pro for Denver:
    They're up 4 and Denver has gotten diddily squat out of Jokic. That scars me.

    Con for Portland:
    Their 3 point defense is shit. Their 3 point shooting is shit.

    Con for Denver:
    Their paint defense is suspect.

    Portlands defense is good in stretches (when it involves Whiteside or Bazemore), but their offense is a little sloppy (and by little I mean really sloppy). It's not really Denvers defense that is causing the Blazers offense to be bland. It's helping the Blazers offense being bland though.

    Good thing they don't hand out playoff seeds after 1 game.

    The pieces are there. But right now they aren't quite fitting. Too many forced passes. They look so out of sync.

    I can't believe we started the season with this fucking officiating crew. All those calls and nothing when Milsap hits Zach in the throat right in front of the ref. They treat him like MJ.

    Maybe stop doubling on D while leaving the 3 point shooters open?

    And yes we need Pau so Skal can move to PF instead of Tolliver.

    The "coach's challenge" is mostly a farce for the refs to "confirm" how good they are at reffing. So far I have not seen one successful coach's challenge in around the 10 or so games I've watched.

    Looks to me that them shooting the lights out from 3 while we shot like shit from there was the difference so far. Gotta think that will change.

    I feel like the 2nd unit really needs Pau to be more effective in the half court. Hopefully the 2nd half will be better for them

    They are hitting wide open shots. We are sucking 3 guys in the lane whenever anyone penetrates even though we have 2 rim protectors. Guys need to stop leaving good shooter and just trust the defense.
